@mo7senses, The difference between hamak and badboo is the same as khushboo and mehek if you happen understand Urdu. Hamak is the word that is mostly uses for the food stuff, if its smelly
Yesterday I made shorba chicken and to my amazement even without adding yogurt/tomatoes it tasted delicious. We enjoyed eating it in iftar, thanks a lot once again.

Is it worth buying it for our day to day cooking?
its wonderful magic bullet can be seen on ebay as well. if you can buy that from a shop buy the one you lock clockwise. i bought a new one that locks anticlock wise. its hard. thanks for liking

I am not sure if I commented on this video yet, but i made this a few months back and LOVED it. Me and my friend ate the whole thing in one go:p it's so simple, delicious and very healthy. Btw I never thought a shorba without tomatoes/yogurt would taste so good. LOVE IT

In fridge for 1-2 days its ok but for long keep it in freezer, 3 hisse lahsan 1 adrak
mila ker pees lo , aur cling wrap tray main laga ker bicha lo, freezer main daal do aadha jama ho to 2-2 " ki tukriyon main kaat lo. phir freez kerdo. achi terha jam jaye to nikaal ker containor main tor tor ker daal ker freez kelo. 6-8 maah bhi chal jata hai!

First of all, i never use ginger and garlic paste from the shops, and i dont think you should either. If you dont have time, just peel and freeze fresh ginger and garlic. Never freeze herbs, the scent goes away. To freeze green chillis just find a compartment in your freezer and put the chilli's in there! :) That is all.

hi Bajia, plannin to make this recipe soon. I have one question though, after brownin the onions how many mins do u keep in pressure cooker to soften the onions. or in other words .what is the consistency ur loooking for when u r cookin the onion in the pressure cooker. I have a pressure cooker with whistle one .. so do u think i should wait for 1 whistle and swtich off or just put without whistle and only cook in cooker for 3-4 minutes. thanks in advance :)
I watched my own recipe for you just wait for the whistle may be 2 min and turn it off. I usually dont look time. Jab tak baratan dhoti hoon saath saath to ho jata hai. you will be alright. Give it a go. Good luck. Watch the recipe repeatedly before making it.
Great, If you want to make bhuni ho-e chicken ginger and tomatoes are must. But in Shorba no way :) gets thick and tangy with tomato and ginger has a very strong flavor.
Ye chicken handi ka word aaj ke her nukker per bane restorant ki aijaad hai. warna ye ko-e dish nahin. handi clay ki hoti hai, jo us main bane handi main paka kehlata hai. shorba gosht ke patle salan ko kaha jata hai.
bohat khoob...achi baaat ye hay kay ismain apnay adrak aur tomatos nahi dalay...kio kay aksar sunday ko humaray haan mehman ajatay hain aur adrak ya tomatos kabi nahi hotay aur yaha sunday ko sab kuch band hota hay...ye recepie naan kay sath bohat achi lagay and i make very good naan..

i made this tonight...before i saw ur recipe..i tried to cook the onions all the way but like u said it wont unless i give it some pressure for a few mins, i had a question tho no matter how long i cook the chicken there's always a raw taste to it is it the chicken or am i not cooking it fully?
Bhoon it well, but to me the problem is in your chicken. Change the butcher or try different size chicken and quality make sur its fresh chicken. You have to shop around to get the perfect chicken and its not easy. Pakistan and India doesnt have this problem.
Another awesome recipe.. Bajia, I am stuck at this part again .. people in my family want more of shorba than pieces, for which i almost every time have to make dal separately so as to not degrade the taste of salan.. This shorba looks like something that wont go with dal. So pls tell me how do i increase the gravy without messing up the taste.
You can easily add up to 2 cups of water. Just add a pinch of salt more thats it. Its plenty of shorba in there. dont worry. Waise yahan bhi ko-e botiyan nahin khata ziyada. sara taste to chicken ka hai nan piyaz dala to meetha, lehsan sala to boo aane lage gi, rahe masalajaat, to wo gosht ke hisaab dalte hain.

The way you cut the onions directly into the pot with a knife in your hands is a true testimony to your cooking skills! I wish i could do that so dexterously! I have seen and tried many of your recipes. They all turned our gr8! Can't thank you enough.

In fridge for 1-2 days its ok but for long keep it in freezer, 3 hisse lahsan 1 adrak
mila ker pees lo , aur cling wrap tray main laga ker bicha lo, freezer main daal do aadha jama ho to 2-2 " ki tukriyon main kaat lo. phir freez kerdo. achi terha jam jaye to nikaal ker containor main tor tor ker daal ker freez kelo. 6-8 maah bhi chal jata hai!

First of all, i never use ginger and garlic paste from the shops, and i dont think you should either. If you dont have time, just peel and freeze fresh ginger and garlic. Never freeze herbs, the scent goes away. To freeze green chillis just find a compartment in your freezer and put the chilli's in there! :) That is all.

In Urdu shorba is called meat cooked in plenty of water. Thin meat curry! its mostly made with boild rice

hi Bajia, plannin to make this recipe soon. I have one question though, after brownin the onions how many mins do u keep in pressure cooker to soften the onions. or in other words .what is the consistency ur loooking for when u r cookin the onion in the pressure cooker. I have a pressure cooker with whistle one .. so do u think i should wait for 1 whistle and swtich off or just put without whistle and only cook in cooker for 3-4 minutes. thanks in advance :)

I watched my own recipe for you just wait for the whistle may be 2 min and turn it off. I usually dont look time. Jab tak baratan dhoti hoon saath saath to ho jata hai. you will be alright. Give it a go. Good luck. Watch the recipe repeatedly before making it.

Great, If you want to make bhuni ho-e chicken ginger and tomatoes are must. But in Shorba no way :) gets thick and tangy with tomato and ginger has a very strong flavor.

Ye chicken handi ka word aaj ke her nukker per bane restorant ki aijaad hai. warna ye ko-e dish nahin. handi clay ki hoti hai, jo us main bane handi main paka kehlata hai. shorba gosht ke patle salan ko kaha jata hai.

Onion is the problem, if you grind onion, shorba wont be the same at all. it becomes thick and sweet.
Try adding some water in onions after browning them and cover it on medium heat till they are soft.
You need 25-30 min extra. But you will get there and surly enjoy shorba.

i made this tonight...before i saw ur recipe..i tried to cook the onions all the way but like u said it wont unless i give it some pressure for a few mins, i had a question tho no matter how long i cook the chicken there's always a raw taste to it is it the chicken or am i not cooking it fully?

Bhoon it well, but to me the problem is in your chicken. Change the butcher or try different size chicken and quality make sur its fresh chicken. You have to shop around to get the perfect chicken and its not easy. Pakistan and India doesnt have this problem.

Another awesome recipe.. Bajia, I am stuck at this part again .. people in my family want more of shorba than pieces, for which i almost every time have to make dal separately so as to not degrade the taste of salan.. This shorba looks like something that wont go with dal. So pls tell me how do i increase the gravy without messing up the taste.

You can easily add up to 2 cups of water. Just add a pinch of salt more thats it. Its plenty of shorba in there. dont worry. Waise yahan bhi ko-e botiyan nahin khata ziyada. sara taste to chicken ka hai nan piyaz dala to meetha, lehsan sala to boo aane lage gi, rahe masalajaat, to wo gosht ke hisaab dalte hain.
ye kafi ho jata hai salan.
