i wasn't so much a fan of Tracy when he was on SNL b/c the cas and writing in those days were (and still is) complete shit. i was lucky enough to watch the in the early and mid-90's and then 1996 comes along and this new cast is put on this pedestal when they're really shit.
I love tracy on 30 Rock though..that show is absolutely HELL DAMN ASS TITS!

Tracy Morgan's nothing more then an answer on Trivial Pursuit... Chris Kattan and Cheri Oteri both have some of the most popular recurring character SNL has ever seen! The only skits I remember Morgan being in were both with Britney Spears!
I will say the guy has balls. He's a C- list celebrity on a show no one watches! He shouldn't be calling out anyone... Let alone fellow C-list celebrity's!!! Isn't there some kind of code?

Chris Kattan is a supporting character on the new sitcom The Middle... Which is... good for sitcom purists.
Cheri Oteri has done lots of bit parts.
Tracy Morgan is good on 30 Rock, where he's playing himself, but he really didn't work out well on SNL when he needed to do different characters.

Tracy Morgan is now the host of "Scare Tactics"-- but even "90210" star Shannen Doherty was a far better host of that show. Tracy Morgan has the most annoying voice, and his jokes aren't funny.

Aw I liked Cheri Oteri especially when she did the cheerleader skits with Will Farrel. Chris Kattan wasn't very funny. I think you're right about new people there's a reluctance at first to accept them because of the transition. I'm sure when Tim Meadows left it must have been a big letdown. On another note how come there's only one token black guy on SNL?
