Just like the seagulls of my home town. At late summer the chicks are as big as their parents and can allready fly but still they beg for food with a squeeky noise.

no cuz a baby penguin is born with fluffy feathers to keep warm as a child. then they grow out of them once there an adult and can easily survuve the winter

It's not that big, it's just really fluffy, it doesn't have its waterproof feathers yet.
