  • I remember when i rode this years ago when it was at Libertyland in Memphis, TN

  • 98 feet my ass that was like 50 feet you could see you there in clear view at 90 you would be ou of sight

  • no it is really that far.. look up the specs.

  • It's 98 Feet including the big lighted sphere thing on top.

  • Nice free fall ride, but wish they'd Bring Back the Red Devil Roller Coaster! My dad rode it back in 1990, but i was too chicken to ride it. Now i would ride it in a heartbeat! Back in '90, i was in the 3rd grade, so of course i'm older now and love upside down stuff. I see they've renamed it to Cliff Hanger. It's a great name, goes great with it since it's on the side of the mountain. Not sure where the Red Devil name came from in the first place, hmm....

  • i went on dat ride not putting bad comment it 1st freefall i EVER went on it was amazing! but not 100% scary

  • I went there this year!

The park as a whole was ok; I thought it would be more fun than it was.

I loved this ride though, AND the amazing view at the top.

I rode it at least 10 times.

    haha

I have a video of it on my channel too.

  • we had the drop of fear at our Ex. We droped from above 140ft. it was awesome

  • that video stiks

  • prob would to someone who wasn't there on a family vacation! lol

  • Just in front of the ride is where the mountain drops off. You can see the whole valley below. Cant imagine what its like on the ride looking off the top of the mountain.

  • lame

  • If you like vacationing for less and making extra money check out the website on my channel

  • i love that ride.

  • thanks for the comment.. :P

  • Nothing scary at Ghost Town any longer...NC Department of Labor is as strict as they can possibly be...I feel much better knowing they're involved in the re-opening of the park.

  • lol.. yeah, well it was free and fun at the time.. ty for the comment

  • Geronimo!!!The tower is located at one of the highest points in the park, more than 4,800 feet above sea level. You can see miles of the breathtaking valley surrounding the park and absorb the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains. Your heart will drop as you are raised 98 feet up into the sky and then released into a free fall before you are safely stopped by the magnetic brakes.

  • cool video...but I would have asked for my money back on that ride. Lame...

  • wasn't lame.. it was fun.. & you don't pay to ride it just pay to get in the park.. you can ride as many times as you want..

  • yeh the same at six flags marine world get in and ride as many times but...THAT WAS LAME!! wat was that?like freakin 3 ft? im 11 years old and i can ride somethin higher than the medusa!!

  • 98 feet
