I would still love to see Chuck fight. I think that some of these matchups he's been in haven't been completely favorable for him (not that that is an excuse). Look at Randy Couture. Randy got to fight Mark Coleman at LHW. What do you think happens if Chuck fights Coleman? How about against Forrest. I think that there are plenty of matchups that will be exciting to fans and get Chuck tuned up to fight elite level fighters again (if he earns it).
i love chuck liddell but he has lost 5 of his last 6 fights all by knockout, any other fighter would be cut. but since he is so close to dana and the ufc there giving him another option to retire and remain apart of the ufc. it seems like he should. he is old and he has a more weak chin than 5 years ago.
Chuck is one of the most exciting fighters to watch. I was rooting for him but I can't get too upset over a loss to Rich Franklin who is also very good. 1:45 and that is why TUF died after season 4. More worried about promoting a fight between two already established UFC fighters and having these great up and comers take a back seat. That show should be over a 6 month period with rather legends or real coaches coaching the show. When they bring in champs or contenders to coach it holds everything back. A lot of those guys on the show are not going to learn enough to evolve their game in 6 weeks. TUF needs a lot of fixes to revive it.

I love the sport of MMA so obviously I know of Chuck Liddell. I wasn't a huge fan of his when he was the champ and was knocking people out, but now that I see him getting picked apart and people exploiting the holes in his game I feel for him. I know he wants to return because he has a little left in the tank and feels he can compete. I think he needs to look at his last 5 fights and see if he can train and game plan a little better. The 205 weight class has a lot of great fighters.

chuck liddel looked great in his fight. the only thing that fucked him up was his stupid decision to go in on the last 10 seconds. if he bounced around he woulda dominated rich franklin. he actually threw kicks! he did takedowns. he broke his arm he did everything well except for going in when he had 10 seconds till the round ended. if he was going to go in on the last 10 seconds, he should have done the barrage of punches he usually does.

No it's not. He is the most one dimensional fighter. Other than hay-makers all he throws are a few kicks every couple of fights. He was fighting bad fighters (compared to today's 205 crop) back 4 to 8 years ago when he was dominating and he was faster, he's too slow to beat anyone legit anymore. And he just couldn't quit while he was on top or even after the Wandy win. The guy is a black belt in two forms of Karate and never utilizes it.

I would still love to see Chuck fight. I think that some of these matchups he's been in haven't been completely favorable for him (not that that is an excuse). Look at Randy Couture. Randy got to fight Mark Coleman at LHW. What do you think happens if Chuck fights Coleman? How about against Forrest. I think that there are plenty of matchups that will be exciting to fans and get Chuck tuned up to fight elite level fighters again (if he earns it).

i love chuck liddell but he has lost 5 of his last 6 fights all by knockout, any other fighter would be cut. but since he is so close to dana and the ufc there giving him another option to retire and remain apart of the ufc. it seems like he should. he is old and he has a more weak chin than 5 years ago.

Chuck is one of the most exciting fighters to watch. I was rooting for him but I can't get too upset over a loss to Rich Franklin who is also very good. 1:45 and that is why TUF died after season 4. More worried about promoting a fight between two already established UFC fighters and having these great up and comers take a back seat. That show should be over a 6 month period with rather legends or real coaches coaching the show. When they bring in champs or contenders to coach it holds everything back. A lot of those guys on the show are not going to learn enough to evolve their game in 6 weeks. TUF needs a lot of fixes to revive it.

I love the sport of MMA so obviously I know of Chuck Liddell. I wasn't a huge fan of his when he was the champ and was knocking people out, but now that I see him getting picked apart and people exploiting the holes in his game I feel for him. I know he wants to return because he has a little left in the tank and feels he can compete. I think he needs to look at his last 5 fights and see if he can train and game plan a little better. The 205 weight class has a lot of great fighters.
