  • I always have tears in my eyes when i watch this. he looks uncomfortable but doesn't understand why. How is he now?

  • I'm sure I can't recommend anything you haven't heard about already :/ but I just got my seizures under control last year using Vimpat - something relatively new. Good luck to you all :*

  • Infantile Spasms are seizures, my son was diagnosed at 4 months old with them. He is now 11 years old, has to take epilepsy meds and has mild cerebral palsy on his right side. He has also suffered delays but still a normal boy compared to what doctors were saying could go wrong. The ACTH med and lots of prayers helped. My sons infantile spasms were exactly like this video. I hope your little guy is doing ok.

  • Infantile Spasms are a devastating seizure disorder....I know all too well that these are seizures, it's just a type of seizure with the name spasm...my son has had uncontrolled seizures for 3 1/2 years now. He was 7 months in this video and he is going to be 4 next month. Unfortunately I am well versed with seizures, but thank you.

  • My son has suffered from seizures since birth. This is what his looked like. I think your son is having seizures, not spasms. Just thought you should know.

  • Omg i love lipton iced tea and your baby is very very cute!!! hope hes doing ok!

  • I am giving a talk about seizures to pediatric residents next week. Could I show them your video for teaching purposes? Thanks.

  • what a precious baby god bless him :)

  • Its awful seeing your children go through this.. I know it scared me when my daughter first started having seizures back in June 2007.. She was almost 5 months old and now she is delayed becuz of the infantile spasms... She is slowly catching up and at 13 months old she started sitting on her own with out support.. and just amazing me every day... and so thankful we found the medicines to help and control the spasms a bit... Good luck with the IS

  • Hi I know exactly what you are experiencing, my little girl is 2 years and 4 months and has been having infantile spasms since the age of 8 months. Initial treatements good, but not good now, we are having anything from 1 to 6 per day. She walks and is very happy but the seizures are very dabilitating for her. We are in England. If you just want a chat please don't hesitate to contact. Thinking of you. Jude xx
