  • All that rain can't be good for the prop.

  • Was this a GPS approach?

  • red over white all the way down. very nice.

  • Nice landing!

  • Very nicely done!

  • nice , tough weather to land in .

  • Lol i fly out of there

  • Very Nice, I hope you had an Umbrella when you came out

  • Awesome flying. Great job!

  • Good Set Up, Nice Approach, Perfect Landing.

  • 5 mile final?

  • hehehe i think this is something only pilots can appreciate! :) nice landing!

non-flyers: "wtf, we're watching rain on windshield for 5 minutes..."

  • lololololololol true =P

  • Ha! Very true.

  • Eh.. They have vertical contact almost the whole video. Nicely flown approach, though.

  • Well done. What a lovely day to go fly. :-P

  • I can't wait til I start flying IFR...that's what separates the men from the boys - breaking outta cloud @ 200 or 100 ft a-mazing!!

  • So what if you looked out the window and saw William Shatner trying to pull up the engine Cowling?

    I'd scream.

  • I flew into LVK at night 3SM visibility and moderate rain! It was tough. You did a good job too. Thank god for ILS!

  • Hey rotorhead...I'm a hangar row behind you. We've got the green Starduster with the hornet on the cowl. I knew I recognized everything...rain notwithstanding. Put a tailwheel on that beast, and I'll come fly it with you. :-)

  • Can't get much better then that.

  • CCouldnt have picked a better day...lol nce flyin

  • awsome i cant wait until i start mine

  • That's awsome. Can't wait to start my instrument.

  • nice job.. what airport is that?

  • Gads. Lovely day to go fly. :-/ Nice job! What type of aircraft was this?

  • Thank you. It's a T210M with a very upgraded panel.

  • Well flown...

  • o sweet...i work over at ahart..idk if u keep ur plane at livermore or what but nic video tho

  • nice. in his defense on being high, he:

1)overcame the illusion of 'being high' w/rain on windscreen

2)stayed above VASI glide 'path' (if using)as is required @Towered airports unless bracketing which btw he shouldn't be(and isn't)doing, that late in the game...OR,most importantly...

  • 3)**he knows that about 338'agl tower that is exactly 315'below the glide slope about 1.9nm from the TDZE, making a 4.5dot deflection below glide slope DEADLY!!given the 3 degree GS, 4.5dots@1.9nm=315'low,=impact,+fall another 338' to ground.(and needs to be right of localizer.) Notice his climb started when autopilot came off(ding)and began hand-flying.

    BTW denelson83, you're right...SOME VASI's don't coincide w/ILS glideslope angle. ie KSFO:ILS 19L=2.95deg., 19L PAPI=3degrees!

  • hey was this into LVK?

  • Yes it was. KLVK

  • Remember, VASI's are used for *visual* approaches. They sometimes have different glide paths than those used for instrument approaches.

  • To BeechSundowner: The glideslope and VASI are not always at the same slope...

  • Were you using a coupled approach with the Autopilot on this video? Which A/P?

  • if he did he turned it off at 1700;) of course!(in notes for plate, which maybe u read)

  • cant say coz i havent seen it

  • Very nice videoo :), i`m from Argentina!!!

  • Very nice landing. Would have loved to seen the instrumentation. You looked a littly high on your approach based on the VASI on the left of the runway

  • Outstanding! I don't think you could have done a better job!

  • Absolutely beautifully flown
