Why are there so many stupid building codes? Some building codes make sense but this ones kinda dumb. I think its just away for government to stick their nose in what youre doin and get their hands in you pockets. What does it really matter if I have 36 inches or 32 inches of space where I take a dump? How could that possibly worry the government. If a fat person wants to poop at my house, then maybe it would be a fire hazard for them if they get stuck. But a 3ft wide person IS a hazard already

@CurtShaw22 It got a good point. Anyone who's wider than 36 inches, should know better and as far as the building codes go, there are some of them that really do dig into home builders pockets, but we need to remember that most of them are good, did I just say that. Maybe I should have my head examined.
