The difference between Archie's version and Clay's and Bo's, was that you could tell that Archie put everything he had into it. Bo and Clay did fantastic, but David blew everyone away. It was amazing.

David Archuleta owns this song after season7 finale. The way he delivered was way way better and the BEST of them all. No one should ever sing this song in AI after David's performance, unless he is that great to top DA's performance...IMHO.

This is actually very good. It's a great vehicle to show off one's voice. Clay does a great job on this too. David Archuleta's version is in a class by itself, however, and may be the best single performance of any song in Idol history.

I never watched the first three seasons of Idol so I can't say anything about Clay, Justin and Jasmine. Bo and David were both good. You can't compare the two because they are two different people that sing different genres. I thought that both were good. Loved them both.

No, it really is a curse. Even Elton John, who made the song, only ever got no. 2 at best with this song. It really is a curse, and if you look at Clay Aiken, he was never in the bottom 3 like 5 other Idol Winners.

this is the best version of this song ever on idol. Clay is fantastic but i think Bo's version just stood more as its own performance and not really parallel to Elton John. every other version besides those two needs to be erased.

The difference between Archie's version and Clay's and Bo's, was that you could tell that Archie put everything he had into it. Bo and Clay did fantastic, but David blew everyone away. It was amazing.

david archuleta never put a damn thing into any song brittayn3928 thats why they all turned out the same. Bo wiped the floor with him and if the two had met up in a finale Bo would've beaten Archuleta by more than 12 million votes

David Archuleta owns this song after season7 finale. The way he delivered was way way better and the BEST of them all. No one should ever sing this song in AI after David's performance, unless he is that great to top DA's performance...IMHO.
Bo sounds drunk in this song...

that was beautiful. its funny cuz bo was my fave this season, clay was my fave season 2, and archie was my fave season 7. they all did the song beautifully, but i love the southern rock feeling he put into the song. bo's and archie's are better than clay's. sorry, claymates.

This is actually very good. It's a great vehicle to show off one's voice. Clay does a great job on this too. David Archuleta's version is in a class by itself, however, and may be the best single performance of any song in Idol history.
