@jcrowley1985 AoSTH isn't related to SatAM/Archie Sonic. In almost every Sonic canon its implied that Tails was orphaned at a young age and took care of himself until Sonic took him in. In Archie Sonic it's a really long story ... but his parents are alive and he is now living with them in New Mobotropolis. Tails' father Amadeus is a General. His mother Rosemary is a Councilor. They're both fairly new to the canon but Tails seems to be becoming close to them, his mother especially.
