You ever notice how when someone laughs at something they look over at the other person ,to see if they are sharing in the same funny moment?Douche bags!if its funny laugh,u don't need the acceptance of others to laugh!
Unbelievable!! How many people out there can come up with something that fast?? And what he made up was great! Elton John, you just continue to impress me! Anyone who has not seen him in concert is missing out on one of the best concerts you will ever see!! I've seen him twice and he puts on a fantastic show and has a lot of energy up on stage. Go see him!!
After a couple listens, I figured out that the play is "Peer Gynt" which appears to be one of Ibsen's less appreciated works. This must be why the audience laughs. Although it was unusual in that it was a modern play written in verse (I assume it rhymes in Norwegian).
his voices are so great!he can sing rock pop anything he wants also country blues and other stuff!and he can make a melody by heart!he is by far best singer musician pianoplayer ever!
It is, and I once saw a documentary where they had clips of him, actually in a studio, reading lyrics from Taupin FOR THE FIRST TIME, at the piano, and instantly working through them, turning them into songs for what would become one of his CD's. UNREAL.
It's posssible, I'd like to see it again, or other footage if it exists. I had the feeling what I saw was newer....a quick google makes me think it might have been "tantrums and Tiaras" because I know I've seen that one on TV....but again, I just don't remember clearly enough.
You tube doesn't seem to like me this week, but here it goes again.
The yt clip you are looking for that shows a yong EJ working through the melody for Tiny Dancer is titled "Elton John - Biography part 2/4" and was posted by "Julia9514"

@mhtube01 The only thing missing from his show;s now was his 8 octave voice he used to have!
gahloot 4 months ago
@gahloot But imagine, with his 8 octave range it would hardly be bearable in its brilliance. :)~~

"Arse...how appropriate"
"She's tearing her hair out...probably not a good thing for me to do"
You had to laugh at how Elton's great subtle British humour went completely over the American audiences heads.

uhh how is this a masterclass? i thought in a masterclass the guest will comment on the performance of students?
Medsas 2 years ago
Amended
denicares2 2 years ago
@Medsas No amendment necessary. A masterclass is not defined strictly by critique by the master on the pupil.
Instruction by a master to special students is a sufficient definition.
I've seen your page. You are a piano player but haven't got one Elton song favorited? Nevermind that.
Piano masterclasses are historically critiques of emotional interpretations of music.
This is a master holding class with his interpretations of what music can do.
It's the same thing without judgement.

Was it the documentary with that song? I think it's called Tiny Dancer? Don't think it was a big hit or anything.

Was it? Sorry, I honestly don't remember, I randomly came across it on an obscure television station quite some time ago....

Maybe. I did see a documentary on yt where he's playing Tiny Dancer, a "brand new" song.
