I painted some graffiti here on the outside of the building and spent about 2 hours painting with no trouble, once finished painting the curiosity of the building got the better of me and I entered the building (a lot of the doors are boarded up) and within 30mins had security radios echoing round the place and was avenchally chased through the grounds by a police helicopter and police dog unit, I was caught on the main road outside the building by the police. Dont go unless you want arrested.

Wow! Im doing my 2330 in electrics at college atm and we've just learned about these! I love urban exploration to! Must be pretty sly to get in to a still in use,non derelict building!

It's not still in use and it's only not derelict because most people don't even know you can get in nor whats inside it. I only found out by chance a year ago from a youtube referral, and i've since been err 8 times i think. love it, keep going back :D

Did you haveto break any locks or anything? i mean it seams stupid to have a "working" powerplant unlocked with just a cupple of guards around it.

There is no breaking of locks, but you can't exactly just walk in either. You have to be sneaky and have your wits about you.

There is, but they hardly give a toss now that it's being proper dismantled like. One of the huge gas/diesel tanks looks like it is being taken down as I can see the station from my house.

@altgr13579 i've been in there like 4 months ago securitys naw bad only 2 or 3 security guards but theres some cameras you gotta watch out for. I checked my way in a couple of days ago and its been blocked i think

Unfortunately not... there is quite a bit of vandalism now in the central control room, holes knocked in the walls and everything.
