I think Adam Scott's performance in this was seriously Oscar-worthy. I hadn't even heard of it, though, until I accidentally stumbled upon it on Netflix. Brittany Snow and J.K. Simmons were good, too. This movie was pretty intense, though. Like most other comments say, it's dark, but some of it is actually funny. I love independent films and this is a good one.

I loved it! but, in the trailer they make the movie seem like a funny movie. yes, it had some funny parts, but the main story was actually pretty serious and sad. i cried at at the end.

Adam Scott is F'ing hilarious in this. I love when he plays A-holes. I don't think Brittany looks cute with the black hair. And her being a virgin was stupid. But other than that I liked this movie. It's worth a rental.

Just finished the movie and found it surprisingly enjoyable. The characters were unlikable for a while, and I thought it would end up being as bad a Greenberg, but I ended up enjoying the characters and all their complexities. Its certainly not funny, but its a very good movie.

@mitre178 eh it's definitely more of a drama and pretty depressing to be honest. The cheery music and Netflix listing as a comedy (where I watched it) is a bit misleading. Has some funny lines here and there tho....mainly near the beginning (which is where a lot of this trailer takes place).

What i hate about this film is that, the dialogues of Caleb were almost full of F words! It's sick to always hear it like, does the writer can't think of any words or sentences to put on. Or is it because it's just the way the writer wants the character of Caleb to appear in this film. I like the movie though....

This is a really bad trailer for a GREAT movie.

It was billed as sort of a dramatic comedy but it's far from it. It's an INDY drama and its done REALLY REALLY well.

I recommend it 100%
