I live on Long Island, in NY and there's only grey squirrels here but I go to upstate NY and even some parts of the city and I see black ones. I LOVE squirrels, theyre so cute!
Thank you GilaTomster:) I always wonder how they stay so fat! Very perceptive of you to notice the grey squirrel sound freq....Before this video I only thought they made that loud and annoying sound... I'm glad they are staying away from your roof...perhaps this is why they stay so heavy....from eating peoples roofs:P
I live in north central Indiana, we have brown squirrels. In a town 25 miles east of here, they have black squirrels about the size of your reds. In Chicago, my home town, I've hand fed gray squirrels in Grant Park....they seem to share the same friendliness as the humans living there. Another GREAT video!!!
Thank you terry46619:) I read that there were towns with black squirrels and even towns with white/albino squirrels...Next time I head out west I hope to finally stop off in these towns and visit with these beautiful critters:) I actually visited Chicago back in 1993 and watched someone feeding a squirrel in grant park...perhaps it was you:D
@seahue The town east of me with the black squirrels is called Elkhart. Not much of a town in the way of tourism but the little black squirrels are really cute!
Very well done - I like the squeaking and crunchy noises they made. The red squirrel so cute and small in compare to gray - the nut looked too big for her/him. Thanks.
Thank you my35Xvision:) I learned they actually have a more complex communication then I thought before. Now if only I could translate it to English:D
this deserves more views :)
