  • Ohgod, the endless discussion about whether Klaha or Tetsu is the better.

Both are just as talented, in different ways.

    End of discussion.

  • Klaha, you're a very good singer. But Tetsu put a lot of passion in this song. It sounds better in his version

  • I love love love love see all the parts where we see Mana's fingers on the guitar there is such amazing parts on this oh god

  • Klaha, you had the nerve to change the lyrics to a song that was not your era ...

  • Definitely the best era of MM is that of Gackt and Klaha ... but certainly, Tetsu had something to do with the growth of the band ... He sings in a very different from all the singers and to me is amazing :3 This song is much better with Tetsu than with Klaha :/

I love him, but don't sing very well that song ._.''

  • Klaha absolutely doesn't fit this song

    We want more anger

  • @NKL77 We want more Klaha

  • tetsu did a good job with this and eege.

  • can someone tell me that what does mana write at his guitar's neck and what does it mean?

  • @reindefleur it actually says something like this:

jeune fille - i think means girl something...

  • @LestatdeLioncourt

It means "young girl" in french ^^

  • some Klaha's fans claim he had opera training.

but he sound very weak and shaky to me.

  • maybe informal?

  • Zexion?!?

  • Tetsu started them off. Gackt kicked them up. and Klaha finished them.

  • .. It sounds better with Tetsu

  • Both versions are cool, but it sounds different because their vocal techniques are different. Like,Klaha uses something more for opera and gothic, while Tetsu is more agressive (?)... Ok,kinda obvious. >_>

  • I love at how they line up @1:48 I've had that guitar part stuck in my head for days

  • I loved this era so much,the singer,the costumes,the songs...i just wish that Kami was part of it...R.I.P <3

  • Tetsu is much better.

  • I like Tetsu's version so much more.

  • @Kenshin0011

I don't agree with you. I don't think his voice is annoying, just very different from Tetsu's one. Klaha doesn't express the same feelings as Tetsu in this song, that's how I feel it.Tetsu's version is full of pain, Klaha 's version sounds more like silent sadness. And I like it better this way although I learned how to appreciate Testu's voice.

That's just my opinion of course. I wanted to say it though.

  • @Otchinpriiatna Well said! It's just that...silent sadness. For me, Tetsu sings like he's dying... it's like he's screaming to the world how painful it is, crying and letting us see the wounds. Klaha, on the other hand, sings as if he was alone in the night... no need to show anything, just live with the pain.

Both of them are amazing singers, but Klaha is one of my favorite musicians because of the ablity to show us just with his voice a different world.

  • @Kenshin0011 He's sounding haunting and emotionless because he is playing the part of a vampire... Maybe not in this particular moment, but that "dracula" image that he's supposed to play is so well personified in his voice.

    It's haunting and gorgeous.

  • @Kenshin0011 The lyrics are differents, this is a reason too. I love this version, but I love tetsu's version too. I think both songs are differents songs,

  • I like it just the way it is : )

  • rola=song

  • Klaha or Tetsu no doubt the rola is still good

  • Klaha's version is AMAZING!!! Then again, KLAHA is AMAZING!!!

  • thank you so much for this video....really, thank you

  • @JRockGrrl Without Malice Mizer, Gackt would have never become famous at all.

  • hmm.. nice but wanna know how it would sound when gackt was the singer :D

i think it would be have been epic ! :O

  • Comment removed

  • @Airedeagua hmm i cannot find any version of gackt.. can you send me a link on pm?

  • @KAZUMIooJOsama you donnot want to listen it....

  • @Ragezort why not? xd

  • @KAZUMIooJOsama I have that song singed by Gackt, are you sure want to listen it?

  • @Ragezort yes i want :D

  • @KAZUMIooJOsama look up 'transylvania' my malice mizer...gackt didnt do many gothic-themed songs...'bel air' is also a very good one

  • Tetsu version it's 100% better than this !!!!

    This version sucks (-_-)

  • I love this version!! Kozi's backing vocals add a really wonderful element!! <3

  • @ComatoseElf

    I miss kami's backups though T.T rip

  • i think he will sing in original lyrics.why he created new lyrics?i need to know this lyrics.someone tell me plz.

  • beautiful lyrics. personally i like this version better than tetsu's. anyone know where i can find the mp3 version of this song?

  • Mana's guitar says jeun e fille.... can someone tell me what that means?

  • @XxStrawberryAngelxX Jeune Fille means Young girl :D

  • @TwilightSakura28 thats.... interesting... I'm sure there is a story behind that. Just like the whole humanity= Malice Misery thing. Thanks a lot~

  • @XxStrawberryAngelxX

    "little girl"

  • @lechef415

    it's technically young girl. ^-^

  • i like this version but i also liked tetsu's, it makes this one seem extremely watered down, but over all tetsu's singing was less controlled but more powerful

  • wow klaha sings this song way better then tetsu...that guy couldnt evn sing XD

  • wow klaha sings this song way better then tetsu...that guy couldnt evn sing XD

  • I'm sorry to say, but with Tetsu MM would have never become that famous ....

  • @icelinx

Klaha joined when they were already famous.

  • @icelinx

Klaha joined when they were already famous. (Gackts replacement)

  • @icelinx Well, Gackt did all the shit for MM. And then he was asked to leave the band.

  • @FUCKTHEREST92

So true. A talented guitar player alone seldom keep a band famous...

  • @icelinx with Tetsu perhaps had not become famous, but would have retained his dignity, thanks to the commercialism that was brought gackt them almost sell their mothers

  • c'mon this is better than tetsu version

    for me, of course

  • Agreed

  • Agreed. I heard Tetsu version I quickly changed to Klaha version, his is better more gothic and into the song

  • @DixMadness7 Agreed. But I really like Tetu's version also... he had something special too...

  • @DixMadness7 The tetsu version sounds like a dying cow lmao

  • i love tetsu version better its more intense

  • In this song and Shiroi the guitar part (2 voices, mana and közi) is very very amazing

  • Tetsu's is better... melody...., and voice... well... is pretty peculiar but i like it alot...

  • this version is good but his voice is too controlled and soft, it needs to be higher and more energetic

  • Yu~ki ♥

  • if Mana was really a chick I'd beat lol

  • My friend gave me a CD with this song in high school. Fell in love with Malice Mizer ever since! :)

    xo

  • Wasn't this the Tetsu era ? Oo

I mean, wasn't the wong written in/to the tetsu era ?

  • yeah this song was written in the Tetsu era...

  • but those are klaha era lyrics

  • I know this is Klaha..

Wait did they change the lyrics?

  • They must have changed the lyrics, because the lyrics to this version are nothing like Tetsu's. Maybe they just liked the tune. -shrug-

  • I could never notice that because I couldnt really understand a word Tetsu was saying in his version ofm this song...

  • I hate to be a pain, but can anyone send me an mp3 of this song?

I've been looking everywhere, but finding it is harder than finding a shiny pidgey!

  • Look for the album that has this song and try and get a hold of it, because the albums are just great!

  • there's no album with this version. just the DVD concert

  • : (

Yeah, that kind of sucks, I was looking at their discography not too long ago...

A lot of the best ones aren't on any actual albums I guess, it's too bad, because they might be better known if they were!

  • 第三代就是因为太适合Malice Mizer所以才会不成功。

  • How does Mana managed to look so beautiful in PVC? I can't imagine how frumpy I would look if I dared to wear similar outfits. Klaha is definitely the Prince of Darkness. Gackt made a lovely fallen angel, but I have the feeling that Klaha is better suited to the darker look. I love Gackt, but he was better as the suave aristocrat from Verte Aile.

  • yeap..Klaha is the ultimate Prince of Darkness.

  • He oozes darkness. I think he suited the progressive rock of Malice Mizer more so than his later solo pop career. I've always had this vision of him as the Phantom of The Opera.

  • I agree, I don't really like how all of the music artists nowadays are doing the same boring solo pop career thing (but Klaha is still amazing!)

  • Yeah, same here...And since I love both Malice Mizer and the Phantom of the Opera...well, it would be paradise for me~ xDDD

    (*w*)~

  • i simply love this version. but there are incredibnle different. even the lyrics are changed.(btw, if someone has the lyrics can please give them to me? i tryed to write them myself but there are a few things i can't understand...some words just didn'tfit the context, so i probably got them wrong. so please.) I love Klaha sama's voice. it's a little bit darker the tetsu's. I think both songs sound amazing, but this versoinis closer to my heart.

    Anyway, great job Klaha-sama ^-^!

  • Holy crap! That's a Tetsu song!!

I never knew they reperformed Tetsu songs. =O

  • he did a really good version of this song.... nice job klaha-sama

  • I don't believe it had anything to do with Tetsu not liking them using his lyrics. He had also written the lyrics for other songs that they continued to use, such as "Ma Cherie."

  • Both versions are good on their own I think. Obviously this version was made to cater more to Klaha's singing style and the band's direction/image at the time. I really doubt Klaha can sing the original version like Tetsu did and vice versa.

  • I personally like both version of the song. I can't choose between them. Both Tetsu and Klaha sang wonderfully. ^^

  • i like the original version of Kioku to Sora a bit better, but I love Klaha's voice and this was a really nice performance ^^

  • yes but its also the original the original is always the best, but theyre sug in two completely different ways so i like both ^^

  • GOd they all look so good right now, this is my fave malice look, except that theres no kami Y_Y

  • I like this version of this song the most ^^ I love the way Klaha sing it.

  • Agreed! This song was meant for Klaha.

  • this si malice mizer O_O i would have sworn that kozi was K from moi Dix Mois XD wow this is amazing tho, 1000x betetr then MDM

  • lol that is so true. malice mizer is better.if malice mzier ever gets back together, they need mana and kozi on guitar, k for death vocals, seth for vocals (seth is the best mana has ever had), yuki on bass, and tohru or hayato on drums.

  • eh i dun think seth is the best but thats just my oppinion :p

and yeah good line up idea altho i prefer tohru over hayato, tohru is amazing x3

  • Mana and Kozi, Seth, and Hayato sounds like a pretty amazing lineup...it would produce a gorgeous sound. Now let's try to imagine Seth singing Malice songs...

  • He'd have to sneak in a few random screams to keep himself happy lol

  • The screams are Mana's fault anyway, so I think that'd be at his discretion.

Oh, and I forgot Yu~Ki, oops.

  • Yeah, true. But I just kind of get the feeling that Seth likes to scream every now and again ^^; Maybe it's his stress reliever lol Working with a perfectionist like Mana-sama can't be easy XD

  • He'd probably be better than any of the Malice Mizer vocalists if he sang in the same style he used for Amadeus.

  • Perhaps so. He sounds really amazing in Amadeus. Then again, I think Mana is doing really great things with his voice now in Moi dix Mois too.

  • Do you mean that Mana's doing great things with SETH'S voice?

  • I do.

  • Oh ^^;; I was close to going "YOU'VE HEARD MANA SING? GIMME!" like a child that wants candy XD

  • Haha that's understandable.

  • i love it

  • That's fine, it's still a great sound (and good quality btw).

    Klaha was great in MM

  • did klaha change the lyrics??

  • he did!!! WTF! why?

  • yes he did....and i dont know why..

  • Tetsu probably didn't like them using his lyrics, but thats just a guess

  • because tetsu had a i wider note range and betetr voice control, klaha probabely couldnt hit the same notes

  • Why is this comment thumbs downed so much? Tetsu did have a much wider range and Klaha definitely couldn't hit the same notes. The song WAS re-written because it would sound horrible on Klaha. Not only does Klaha have less range, but as Trace pointed out, he doesn't have the same control and wouldn't be able to jump up and down between notes as suddenly as the original Kioku to Sora is written. Notice how the vocal melody is a lot more spaced out in this version.

  • FINALLY SOMEONE FUCKING GETS ME XDDD

  • Can someone translate the lyrics and post them?

  • Klaha's version of this song is the best.... XD

  • Klaha es la ley!!!

    Ai Shiteru!!!!!!!!! *O*

    canta bien genialoso mi marido

    lindo pinchemente genial!!! cool!!!!

    saludos...

  • what i hate bout Klhas kioku to sora version is that the lyrics are tottaly diferent

  • can someone tell me what the fuck happened to tetsu

  • true true.

but still he was kinda unique

  • Tetsu was a really cool guy.

I too ask myself that question.

Can't complain about Klaha or Gackt.

All 3 of Malice Mizer's vocalists were utterly amazing, and i believe that is because the group itself as a whole was outstanding.

  • did they do a studio recording of this with klaha?

  • AAAh Közi and his amazing dreads *.*

    Love it X3

  • By the way, I forgot to ask...

Do you have the MP3 for this? I'd simply LOVE to add it to my Malice Mizer discography. :3

Sorry if it's an annoying question, but I had to ask~

  • I have the mp3! Give me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you :-3

  • could you send it to me too? il post me email addres to you

  • Tetsu AND Klaha are amazing...

Although while he was in Malice Mizer, Tetsu was kinda akward, almost a garage vocalist so to speak, but nowadays in Zigzo (if thats where he still is) he's great.

Klaha has a marvelous voice, but personally, I think it'd be more interesting to hear him attempting to sing Tetsu's lyrics, in Tetsu's style...

I love the way this video shows Mana's hands on the fretboard. :D ~Stares in a creepy, loving fanboy-ish way~

    lulz

    I want the Jeune Fille...

    ~dix love~

  • yeah i usually tell people that get all hating on Tetsu that if you look at his later bands his sound is actually quite good. i like to think some of his malice mizer stuff was more of an experiment to what his voice could actually do. some of the songs on the memoire album i actually like though

  • Yup yup. People say that Tetsu was a garage-singer... he kinda was THEN.. but not now.

Besides, I don't call him a garage singer, because his quirky voice added a lot of character to Malice; I mean, sure, it would never have gone off on major label production, but it was good for what it was for then.

<3 Baroque, Kioku to Sora and Seraph

Nobody can do those songs like Tetsu--Klaha's version is cool, but never better than the original.

    Gackt's Ma Cherie < Tetsu's Ma Cherie

    ~dix love!~

  • Hmmm! I actually think Tetsu sounded much better in Malice than he does now! He had the pseudo-classical element on his voice still, whereas now he just sounds like a normal rock guy. I think Tetsu was a fantastic singer who truly captured the concept of misery in Malice's songs!

  • yeah he was good, don't get me wrong. i like each of the singers in Malice pretty much equally, although i tend to lean more towards klaha-sama; i really like tetsu though.

  • Yeah, I've given up on trying to decide which is best, haha.

  • everyone has given up, main reason why i did is because the song rocks, let it go

  • I was replying to someone else's comment. I have nothing to "let go" because it does not occupy any form of argument for me anyway. I like all of them.

  • no no i did not mean you personally, i just mean some people have some kind of issue with it, i was not saying you were, sorry for the confusion.

where it is true, all malice mizer singers were good in their own way. each member is dear to my heart

  • Oh, ok! I agree with you :)

  • i like two versions, but with klaha i understand the melody

  • i do prefer the other version

  • Klaha's a great singer but his voice is too calm for this song.Tetsu brought a lot more energy with his vocals.

  • I like the Tetsu verison more... But this one is also very nice.

  • Don't get me wrong, Klaha sings very well, but I perfer the other version...

  • I love Klaha!!

  • i want the lyrics of this song, cause in the testu's song, is diferent, could someone plz write here??

    ^^

  • klaha

    I love

  • Mana I love so much

  • Not bad, but I prefer the original one, sung by tetsu

  • In facto, both are different songs: in the music, in the lyrics and in the vocalist. And both are wonderful.

  • i couldn't believe it's kioku to sora. ohooh, klaha, i like you, man, so why did u do 'this' to me? you're not kind to my ears anymore honey?

    ^^

  • I believe Khala...Tetsu...And Gackt did great for MM...there is no better. Everyone likes all 3 era's well most people. The 3 era's all brought different style of music to it

    Tetsu being the agressive one

Gackt being passionate and into sex

    Khala being more Formal

  • Klaha*

  • oh sorry haha thanks

  • haha gackt and sex, like peanut butter and jelly!

  • This version of the song seems different from the original with tetsu.

  • This version of the song seems different from the original with tetsu.

  • This IS different than Tetsu's version... I guess Mana decided to mix things up. Klaha actually didn't sing any Gackt-are, while he did sing Tetsu-era--many people think Ma Cherie is Gackt, while it is in fact Tetsu. ^^ Strange, ne? :P

  • yeah tetsu wrote great songs. and the tetsu era whas different voice, thats why most people hate it. but tetsu whas the first singer. he deserves more respect even though also i dont like his voice in some of his songs.

  • gackt sang this song ages ago wen he just first started with malice mizer, I downloaded it ages ago on SoulSeek but dont ask me if I got it cuz I lost it and nobody is on soulseek anymore!

  • Wow. This was different. I think I might like both versions of the song but for different reasons. Like when Klaha sings it, it would be a more relaxing song that you can listen to while sleeping while Tetsu on the other hand makes you want to get up and dance.

  • tetsu voice is awesome, all you guys that say he sounds like hes drunk cant realize that when tetsu is singing it sounds like he is crying out, just like gackt, when this guy sings...it sounds like HES drunk, so its 1 tetsu 2 gackt 3 klaha or w/e

  • If you don't like it then don't comment! Please, I mean there are a lot of people who like Klaha so DON'T, DO NOT insult him! I myself am a huge Klaha fan so just keep your mouth shut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • uh, i never talked and that is my opinion wich i am intilted to

  • Yes, but you don't have to post something like that. It's just rude! Be considerate of the fact that other people DO like KLaha.

  • idc, i dont period

  • ditto, i mean i love klaha and all but this song is much better the way it was originally, music and vocals

  • What does that say on mana-sama's guitar (in between the frets)?

  • jeun e fille. it means "little girl"

  • I see >_> However, he is all but.

  • I prefer this version because

    1)KLAHA IS SO SEX ;)lol

2)tetsu seems drink a lot when he sing lol,him voice is horrible :s

3)...well,the voice of klaha is better for this song I think,i prefer his dark voice than se sheep voice of tetsu XD

  • i like this version better
