I've probably missed some other obscure artistes as well. His record sales aren't exactly in the same league with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, or Roy Orbison. I clicked on this video because of the song title not the singer, who is supposed to be Peter James by the way. Why are YOU here?

Lindgren33, odd practice to use a track that needs a lot of work to advertise a new CD. Anyone listening would presume the best track was chosen to encourage sales. In any case, remastering can't perform miracles. Everything PJ's recorded since Legend was a complete waste of my money. Besides why would I buy another CD of him imitating Johnny Cash when there are scores by the real Cash still available? Tribute acts may be successful live, but when did you last buy a CD by an Elvis impersonator?

He said he was trying to do it like Vaughn Monroe but switched to Johnny Cash. Evidently he can't do P.J. Proby (or Peter James) anymore.
If we are to judge Proby´s present capacity from one song from a yet unreleased album: The version of Ghost Riders in the SKy you´ve heard is not the final one - it still waits for remastering!

This record is available on an Aussie CD in great sound . Title of the CD is ""The Bigger Sound - Vol.2".
Some other good songs as well, but it's worth it for this song alone.

The other song...You Wont Forget Me ... is an incredible close match to PJ's " ONE OFF "..AMAZING VOICE though..on that particular song.
