The 6th Doctor was supposed to take Peri to an amusement park, but the BBC canceled production of the next season so the show went on hiatus for a full year. The BBC scrapped a whole bunch of scripted 6th Doctor serials and wrapped up the completed ones as segments for the 14 part "Trial of a Time Lord" serial. The amusement park episode was turned into a book and later an audio drama, and from what I heard it was amazing. A real shame the BBC hated Colin Baker.
Davros is a good villian, BUT I can't believe that by this episode, he's still doing the old "But I created you, and you turn against me?!?" bit. How can he still be shocked?

Then Daleks kill her afterwards.
