Just out of interest, why exactly does he duck tape his guitar up? I'm assuming it changes the tone, but in what way?

@jdenicholls I'd imagine it's to lower the feedback from the guitar when it's played through amps. You can buy covers for guitars for that reason, but the tape looks way better.

Saw them live a couple of days ago. He was wearing the same shirt, playing a different guitar with another Duck tape, and singing this track, my fave, on his toes again to project his vocals and with his eyes closed most of the time as usual - he listens FOR his vocals. So do the rest of the band when they come in. That way they meld into one, tight, solid, seamless. Hypnotic. Don't miss them.
