Delaware is a good team no doubt, but I think Appalachian State should move up to Division I-A, they've already proved they can play ball with teams like Michigan, LSU, OSU, Penn State, Florida and USC. I'm pretty sure that Appalachian State could beat Florida, play Penn State and Ohio State down to the wire, already proved that they can beat Michigan, and maybe play a close one with LSU and USC. And they'd easily blow out I-A bottom feeders like Buffalo and Florida International.

Lop-sided officiating means that its weird and inconsistent for BOTH teams. Which it obviously was. The late hit early on, yea, bad call. A few of the calls on Interference were 2, both ways. The announcers said that the conference the refs were from had had a very iffy year

Also .. rushing the field is when you .. you know .. well .. watch The Play.

And what about Delaware's incredibly poised act of throwing the ball at the ASU fans (and missing!)

youre a clown. you got the calls early, which gave you all the momeutum. by the time we started getting calls we were out of it. tell your drunk fans that they were endangering te players and the themselves by being on the sidelines, that was a disaster waiting to happen

Sure, it was the calls. It is amazing what the fan syndrome does to objectivity. An objective summary of the game would be that ASU pounded hapless Delaware. ASU was quicker, stronger, and better. There were only a few calls that were questionable, but those did not come close to determining this lopsided affair. It's weak and a cop-out to even talk of them. I am not talking about arrogant hick fans, only about the football on the field.

ASU has depth, they just don't need it. Our RB who rushed for 30 TDs last year isn't even one of our most important players. Our backup running back rushed for 104 yards two weeks ago. We beat Richmond, and you didn't handle JMU, you won by three. How is that comfortable? Navy isn't better than Michigan, not at all.

It is all relative. UMass from the CAA played an extremely close game with Boston College and BC is ranked well above Michigan by Sagarin. It needs to be decided on the field.

KR: 236 for 1230, 15 TD Average of 5.2

Rest of Team: 243 for 1234. 13 TD Average of 5.3

Total: 698 for 3962, 49 TD Average of 5.7

DELAWARE:

OC: 377 for 1861, 34 TD Average of 4.9

Rest of Team: 183 for 628, 7 TD Average of 3.4
