  • 4 People Suck

  • why doed this look like Gran turismo 5,awesome graphics by gt5

  • Why is that factory cleaner than a hospital!!

  • What was the white race car behind him between 3.30-4.50?

  • @kayatania It was a special wings for life livery for David Coulthard's RB3 race car in his very last race in 2008.

  • WTF!?? where can i find a video or picture of the Red Bull soft drink Factory?????

there is so many things that are sponsored by red bull its all about F1 but where is the soft drink??????????????

  • The whole process and car itself don't impress me so much as machines made to create and test all this things , i mean wtf it take to come up with idea and assemble all that testing devices! !!!

  • Which two idiots gave this video a thumbs down?

    Sebastien Vettel WDC

  • put a gun up my ass and pull the trigger

  • @LordNelson87 How'd Alonso go? X-D

  • Red Bull F1 started in HP’s board room, in the world center of hi-tech, SiCon Valley, USA. Originally Stewart GP, a marriage of Ford, HP & MCI, all 3 American, renamed Jaguar when Jackie sold to Ford. Stewart/Jaguar advanced high technology into F1 like nothing ever before or since. Ford’s competitiveness in the market today is largely a result of this past effort. The team is now owned by Red Bull from profits in sugar & caffeine elixirs that mimic Coca-Cola, another US original.

  • a m8 of mine knows a f1 crew cheif and got a tour of the mclerin pit, he described it as sureal words cannot describe it, you look at the car sitting there and realize that millions upon millions of dollars have gone into the design & production of it, to be in the presence of a machine 10 times more technologically advanced than the space shuttle sends chills up your spine, he said you can almost feel the technology radiating off the car.

  • because the Americans like heritage, hacen nascar, harley, their trucks, etc, etc, etc, lol

  • I have the highest respect for these guys... Just as much as i have for every cutting edge engineer or scientist... (LHC that kind of thing :)

  • yeah, he did a very good job, with a lot of knowledge about things and confidence:)

  • I thorougly enjoy all the explanations. What a lovable video!

  • That was the most amazing thing I have seen in awhile. I'm gonna tell one of the professors to show this to everyone in class (mechanical engineering)!

  • F1 , The best sport on earth

  • 7:15, dudes got a massive package.

  • @spirirtbuu and you are fkin gay.........

  • @borsyzoli: settle, just making jokes!

  • Sod all those other racing forms like Nascar and Moto GP, this is the real sport of mechical engineering

  • Renault rules

  • Thats incredible just that simple. no wonder Webber/Vettle is doing so well.

  • red bull's such a different team to the traidtional ferrari's and mclaren's. they're professional yet casual and open to their fans at the same time. great video.

  • fantastic video

  • UK rules

  • looks like audi factory.

  • Nice car... I'll Take It

  • holy crap.. ive lived in milton keynes for 26 years and red bull is 6miles away and seen the building loads of time even when it was jaguar racing. never knew it so advanced in side

  • nothing in the us can match european engineering, windsor and anderson must have been in laalaa land thinking they could do anything like this in the us. makes you proud to be european.

  • Comment removed

  • @ParanoidAndroid90: I am an European but come on dude! What about the apollo, the space shuttle, the hubble, the predator, the AH64 Apache, boeing, f22 raptor, b2 stealth bomber, Intel, Microsoft, NVidia and so on? Ok, maybe we have a slight automotive advantage. But i still feel humble.

  • the rocket engine was invented in europe, the first pracicle jet engine engine was on a germane plane. the car was invented in europe, the CD and DVD where invented in europe and many many more things.

you must keep in mind that we also had 2 world wars here.

    Siemens, Philips, Bosch, etc, etc.

the hubble is a joint venture between esa en nasa, just like the future James Web.

  • intel can't make chips without machines produced a Philips sister company.

Airbus outsell boeing (kept alive by secrect 'militairy orders from the pentagon).

Europe has just other interrest and some experimental americans weapons are actually fabricated here in europe, because we're better in metal and precision than usa.

you SHOULD read about the Merlin engine you will be stunned, about the true history. what europe need is a single language.

  • @naturalyshocked

Enjoy being over run by Muslims... Just sayin

  • that wil never happen, it's highly unlikely it wil ever go byond 10%, read magazina LIVE, it has bene investigated before

  • if we would speak 1 language and stop fighting internally, we would stamp USA right back into the middle ages.

USA is isolated on the other side and has no natural enemies @ the border.

the perfect example of a union.

Oh, the european GPB is bigger than USA, once the newly joined EU countries are on same Level as the original 12, we will have a bright future.

but the 23 or how many different languages here are a HUGE problem.

    we're on our way

  • this is how an f1 team should look like, now if u guys want to laugh just watch US F1 tour but to be honest i fell pitty for these guys and maybe should not lough that much XD about their ambitious goal to drive in F1

  • What an absolutely lovely factory... could pretty much build a space shuttle in there

  • Fantastic factory!

    Good Newey and Mastezchitz!

    Red Bull GO!

  • Yes, first-class stuff - and I really took a liking to Mr Nevey, whose presentation was spot-on

  • this guys a good speaker, fantastic to see inside the factory.

  • @cullenbay6 Agreed. This stuff is pornography if you're a design student.

  • They're the same as any other F1 team. Except less polished. Its the engineers that make the difference because their facilities suck compared to other teams like Ferrari and Mclaren.

  • it shows why the do so well,

Red Bull is in 2010 a top team.

  • Dream job!

  • ggggggggggggooooooooooooooooooooooooooodddddddddddddddddd

  • pretty sick yo!

  • i love how most f1 factories are pristine. No oil or grease its all about precision.

Redbulls facility is very impressive...I wonder if they are also producing T800's behind closed doors

  • Holy crap, you could probably build space ships in that factory.

  • that was a wicked video, and twizzr i couldn't agree more with you about the whole space-aged factory thing hahaha

  • thats the most space-aged factory i've ever seen. looks like something a bond villain would have.

  • Well that was far more interesting than any actual F1 race I've ever seen.

Rally is King, then track cars, then F1, cause its so bloody sterile & when was the last time u saw someone driving down the street in their F1 to get some milk?

    lol

  • was this the new 2009 model? it looks like the the model before the new regulations

  • @NorbPwn it's the 2008

  • Moulton was here

  • F1 are so advance than any other motorsport.

  • I did a really fun thing in 2004, I visited jaguar racings f1 team (which, btw, now is Red Bull F1 team), and got a tour around the factory :D

  • and i hate you, but not really. Just envious!! i remember when the jaguar team came to my work to use our wind tunnel...it was so cool!!

  • @LINDM4N Jaguar i think is near Coventry!! Right?

  • Just great!:)

  • could it be Jordan?

  • what was the name of this constructor before it became red bull racing,i forgot.

  • Jaguar mate...

  • ok,thank you, wasn't even thinking of that anymore.

  • i think is jaguar

  • jaguar

  • Honda

  • no,that's Brawn gp now, like some others allready said here it was Jaguar.

  • wait Brawn was Honda Racing, which was BAT owned, which they bought out from Ken Tyrrell. And Red Bull team was Jaguar Racing prior when Jackie Stewart sold his team in '99. End of story.

  • Steve Nevey is the most friendly, knowledgeable and very experience person when it comes to F!. He is also a gentlemen first class. I had a chanse ( with my whole family) to visit the Red Bull F1 factory in Milton Keynes last year ( we are from Australia and dedicated Mark Webber suporters) and we had a personal tour through the factory by Steve and it was very very impresive. There a lot of profesionals that can learn from this people in Milton Keynes even some in the F1 industry. Thanks Steve

  • this is a good vid learned a lot thanks

  • That was a great video and I am pretty up on this stuff, had never seen that laser before, wow. Red Bull for the title this year!

  • I learned A LOT from that vid! Thanks a million!

  • Really interesting!

  • Thanks to Red Bull and Automotivetv for making this available.

First class insight into the technology and detail involved in producing an F1 car.

  • Fantastic VID!!!! i have respet 4 all the F1 teams but the redu bul car looks SICK!! whit those colours!!

  • This is what Max and the FIA doesnt want the teams to be doing.

  • that's an awesome video. would be even better if they got into much more detail. although it's secretive, it's extremely interesting to me.

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much red bull for putting this video up. I LOVE the all white garage.

  • great vid! Thank you RBR for the tour, and giving us an insight to what goes into making an F-1 car.

  • I wonder which is more expensive carbon fiber or titanium.

  • Loved seeing David Coulthard's custom coloured car there from Silverstone last year. I'm really glad they keep those cars for exhibits! That Factory is amazing. Absolutely nothing like it. It's so clinical and everything looks sterilised. A great balance to a really raw, powerful car.

  • fantastic video , really great .

  • That was one bad ass vid

  • all these technologies and staffing...how on earth Max Mosley's proposed budget cap going to work?!

  • Fantastic, thanks for giving these behind the scene video's and animations.

  • Nice one Steve, and well done for today!

Especially like the Leica T-Probe at the end!!!!

    Regards

    Steve Shickell

    Portable Metrology Manager.

  • perfect., great video

  • tanx red bull, tanx automotive, nice set up for the coming race weeknd. silver stone . this is what i was asking for more in depth . woohoo

  • cheers heaps to automotivetv & red bull for allowing us to see this sort of stuff. awesome. good luck to Webbo @ silverstone.

  • sick video thanks for posting

  • Great Video.

  • F1 drivers are soooo lucky

  • its not luck.

  • im sorry but it really is

  • Why? Some of them have worked their asses off since they were five! They deserve everything they got.

  • i realize they are amazing but if there parents have the money then they can pay there way into F1

  • Its expensive to get to make it into F1, but if youre not good enough you dont last long.

  • Lol, you need more than money to get into f1! But it is certainly one of the things you do need, even karting at the age of 8 can be very expensive if you want to be competitive.

  • well being good at driving isnt luck... but being a very good and fast driver isnt the only thing you need to be in F1... you need a lot of money to start with go karts, then to single seaters, then if youre really good, to F1. well, not that much for go karts

  • true man i know very well how expensive it is. i started in go karts but i know race in FBMW and im already feeling the effects.

  • youre gonna need a heck of a lot of money to go to F1... good luck with that

  • Imagine BRAWN GP !

  • Great video, ...now, imagine Ferrari !

  • Awsome! Thank you for posting this video! =D
