I won't say its the BEST book I've ever read. I don't really enjoy reading books that were once diaries. Still this book just breaks the exception. I enjoy every moment of reading it and its SO well done. The drawings, the design, the pictures...everything is so well made that once you start you don't wanna stop. I've been reading it between classes(cuz at school we have 5 mins free between one class and another but they are usually 15) and at recess and whenever is time to put it down I suffer.

I just read the Heroin Diaries, its by far the best book i have ever read, the little lyric quotes and the quotes from the people who actually lived this amazed me. Most of us will never experience the things that Nikki did (thank god) and this book allows you to really get in his dark twisted mind... its a little confronting in some bits, not isnt that what we all need when it comes to this topic? something to make us reaslise how bad drugs are? seriously awesome book, cant beat it for me.

I fuckin love this book, I read once and then the novelty of it is that you can pick up and read it again, but you can do it from anywhere; its got that something else that other books or autobiographies don't have, I've probably read it about 4-5 times in total, I cannot get bored of it!

I also enjoyed the lyrics at the side and random thoughts as well as others opinions, its an underrated book, definetely tops Slashs book and that was AMAZING too!

Ofcourse, there are a difference between weed and heroin, duh. They do different stuff to your brain, and work in different ways, and yeah, there are probably no OD:s from weed, but as, DancingTableLeg writes, it still is hell for the addict.

And hasch - btw - is worse for you when you are sober, 'cause that destroys the brain in that way, that you get black outs...huge ones. A friend of mine, who is sober now (and did hasch), can't even remember his first 20 years.

And for those who not know, pot usually is the enter-drug for the heavy drug addictions. It isn't lesser of a drug for that reason.

I just finished reading it today, It's amazing. There's no other way to describe it. In the last entries I cried, seriously...you can feel it, it's like talking directly with a person. When I went to buy it, there were no books left so I ordered it, I have to say it really paid off. That book changes lives, and I have to thank Nikki for that.

I was in tears while reading the "Heroin Diaries", not just because of the pain and despair that comes with drug addiction, but also tears of joy that Nikki was able to beat his demons that almost killed him and come out the other side a better person for it.
