  • Thanks for posting - you make it look easy, but obviously this takes some practice. How long would you say it would take for a newbie to learn to pick a 7 pin lock in about 2-3 minutes? And I'm not looking to steal bikes or from vending machines.

  • hey theze are on washing machince too u can pick thoze to do free laundry but da coin box iz on bottom! anyone kno how to pick thoze ?? help .:

  • Does this work similar to comb picks in the respect that it pushes both parts of the pin past the shear line?

  • Would I still be able to feel the pins separating like on a standard tumbler?

  • Isn't it also possible to do this with a tubular torsion wrench and any small item to push the pins down with? It's a little more difficult, but you'll save a ton of money. I think the problem with tubular locks is that the pins are exposed from the face of the lock, where regular pin tumblers are concealed in the key way.

  • So how many vending machines you extract money of so far?

  • Setting the lock up with only a few pins really makes it easy to pick and look good. Try a lock that is fully pinned.

  • @ablelock2002 what do you mean by fully pinned?

  • what is the tool you use here

  • WERE DO U GET THAT ?

  • what song is that?

  • If you hold the pick really still...you will have a easier time picking.

  • is a 7 pin tubular lock the most common? or is 8? Please help.. i'm trying to decide which tubular lock pick to buy.

  • I see more 7 pins than anything else... but it depends on your area.

  • Thanks!

  • how du u know what to use for different locks? (:

  • dude who is the music by lol...

  • That shit right there is homemade....hahahahahaha

  • i need one...

  • so how do you know when each pick is at the shear line,do you feel it your is it hit and miss

  • I've seen 12-pin ones...and the pins were marked with letters.

  • Dude can u get the pick at like walmart or something???

  • Nope

  • where can you get one of these?? other than the internet

    :P

  • hey my mate has the 7 and 8 and uses it very well am thinlin of gettin the 7 and 8 or should i just get the 10 ? also do the come with instructions and how long do they take in the post

  • how do i tell how many pins are in a lock, do they all tubular locks look the same?

  • Count them

7 and 8 pins also have a notch in the center... but the 10 pins do not.

  • how is that?

  • They will just be outdated sooner or later

  • what is the best type of tool to get...7,8,10 pins??

  • 7 is more common, 10 might be seen more often though.

  • cool. wish i had one. that way i could really start my locksmith business to help pay for college. i'll pm you about an idea for making one ok? 5 stars btw. i watched this plenty of times and i guess i never commented.

  • dude everyone on this page is like a pro criminal

  • We do not use any of this content for illegal purposes.

    This a hobby.

A real criminal would not waste time to pick a lock but instead he/she would be destructive.

  • when i get dis...am rampagin arcardes and candy machines

yes, thnks 2 hu eva created dis..

    (but its quite expensive)

  • and you are the kind of little puke us hobbyist lockpickers DESPISE! people like you wreck it fo' everyone else who loves locksport as a hobby!

  • @mrcritic1 LOLOL

  • how much do they cost?

  • lolololololollol sony vegas.

  • OMG I AM SO GETTING ME THIS PICK

  • im having a problem picking these... do you apply tension as you push down the picks?

  • i have noticed some are able to pick easy and some i cannot get to pick..if you find out why let me know

  • I've had that same problem, but with 5-pin tumbler locks. As far as that went, I noticed I was adding too much tension on the problem lock, just had to ease up on it.

Though I have yet to pick a tube lock, adding too much tension could be the problem :)

  • I have heard that the pins don't need to be pressed down vertically, the pick just needs to be twisted back and forth until it becomes a working key.

  • Thats true i can pick this type of lock in about 10 seconds

  • what brand is that tubular pick?

  • southord

  • does it just have the rubber removed or is it the old school version?

  • amazing tool

  • no, i HATE my camera

  • Mine is very expensive camera.

  • intresting technique, awesome job tom
