Man looks like a lot of fun. I dont have the guts to do that with my V-Strom yet. Dont listen to the hater it takes some guts to do what you guys did. V-Stroms arent that cheep!!!

Many of them were new to offroad, for a lot of them this trip was their first three water crossings. As for new riders in general no, most of these folks have been riding for a few years.

If you had stayed left you would have made it. The loud clunk you hear from Jim's bike as he exits from the center route is actually his bash plate hitting the rock, no damage.
