    Urban

  • I grew up listening to all this stuff. It sure makes me feel good and puts a smile on my face. Most of the old Swedes here are all gone and I miss this. Nice memories. Tack sa mycket Lennart in Connecticut

  • Tack Lennart ! You know, we are all gone some day, BUT the good music will survive and this is for sure good Music. . I have relatives in US, but no contact, sorry to say. My Grandpa's brother emigrated to Chicago in the early 1900. I understand it well ! Meaning, loosing the contact to the old days, but we have the memories wether we live in US or Sweden. That's a good thing to have !!! Tack sa Mycket Lennart for din kommentar och att du lyssnade ! Ha det bra ! Urban Goteborg, Sverige
  • My grandfather used to play this song on his button box. He passed away in 1974, and that was the last time I heard this song until today. Thankyou for letting me relive a memory of him...dan

  • Thanks Dan !

This is an old Swedish song, original sang by Skanska Lasse and the music by Gaston Wahlberg.

It's still popular among the traditional folk music players here in Sweden.

The Original Swedish Arvika Blues Breakers - play the song and I gave them the name last autumn. I'm also proud to present my good friends in the band, this way !

Thanks for the comment and listening !

    Peace !

  • Like that sort of blues harp with a folk song. I've got great respect for those who choose to keep the folk music of their respective nations alive. Good stuff OSABB

  • I have so much american folkmusic, Blues/rags and so on, so I thought a Swedish foklore was approriate. I have interest in the band :

THE ORIGINAL SWEDISH ARVIKA BLUES BREAKERS

I gave them their name, when they started last autumn and I've also sent some material to them. They play the old folk-music in a new way, so why not support them.

    Thanks Brother !

  • It's back and still fabulous.*****

  • Yes Paul, but it's not back on request. I think it's a very typical swedish song and I have some interest in it as The Original Swedish Arvika Blues Breakers play it. I gave them their name, when they started last autumn !

    Peace Brother !

  • Good to hear some Swedish tunes.

  • Thanks Raymond.

I've uploaded so much american Blues, so I thought it's time to upload a traditional swedish song.

I'm a bit proud cause I named the group and have contact and support them.

They started last autumn and I think they have a personal style and sing old swedish tunes in a new way. Unusual here in Sweden. Most of our songs are influenced by the american and english spoken countries.

    Peace My Friend !

  • Nice Urban Youve Expanded My Insite Thx Bro Peace

  • Thank You ! I just wanted to upload some swedish among all blues and I have given the name of the band, as well as some music and lyrics !

    Peace Brother !

  • Thank you !

  • JT, I wanted to upload some swedish tune, so this one is traditional and I have some influence in the band The Original Swedish Arvika Blues Breakers. I gave them the name !

    Peace Brother !
