  • omg im so srry he/she died i know how u feel <3 nice video

  • What a beautifull story about love . Thankyou.

  • That was so beautiful.

  • Como foi dito no video, o Amor sempre permanece!

Um dos videos mais fofos e emocionantes que eu já vi.Pelo menos, ainda existem alguns seres humanos que merecem viver neste planeta!

    Pena que sejam tão poucos!

  • My Taoist sign is rat,my ascendent rabbit.I couldn't love this more !!!!Thanks for this.Amazingly beautiful true story.

  • Oh, am sobbing now. Can see how much he was loved - and how much he loved you both. GBU little Zeus x

  • I can't stop crying. He's adorable, and you're so loving for giving him such a great home. My heart goes out to you. I wish all animal owners loved their pets as much as you love him. RIP, Zeus.

  • Wonderful, beautiful, amazing ... I have no words to say how important a friend by your side, even if that friend is four feet or the size of an eraser ... Zeus the little mouse .... Good bless you Angi and Silas the beautiful gesture of caring for a helpless creature as he was ....

  • A year ago, I rescued a little mouse who was in my kitchen, my mom was about to run and kill him but I begged... He lived as a king too, in his cage with his wheel, eating the same food that my hamsters ate, 6 months later he abandoned me. Farewell Mr.Jingles... bounce in mouse heaven <3

  • I'm so very sorry to hear that sweet little Zeus departed from this world. He was so lucky to have you as his replacement mommy. I hope he has a soft, squishy cloud to rest on.

If you need me, I'll be over in the corner crying.

  • It looks like Zeus is smiling @ 0:35

  • Very touching.

At my job, I've rescued dozens of innocent mice from glue traps and rehabilitated them and then eventually released them in my own backyard.

Later this Spring, I hope to be releasing a short (5 min.) video showing how to release a mouse from a glue trap without causing more harm to the mouse. The main release agent is vegetable or nut oil.

  • So very sweet. I cried. Rest in peace little Zeus (a big name for a little guy).

  • I cried. :'(

  • This is the sweetest, most beautiful story. What priceless, precious pictures you have of Zeus. So touching! Warms my heart to know this little mouse was loved so dearly. <3

  • That was so beautiful and touching. Thank you.

  • awww....how cute... RIP Zeus

  • Absolutely beautiful! I don't know who is luckier, you or Zeus? God Bless you for having such compassion for him. You must be one special couple and the world is in desperate need of people like you. Thank you for caring so much for him. What a legacy he has left behind, profound love, it doesn't get any better than that! Thank you too Zeus for entering into our hearts, I will never forget you!

  • most adorable thing I saw in a long time. xxx

  • I have watched this countless times and it always makes me cry. I cry just thinking about Zeus and his beautiful little face. I've said it before and I'll say it again...Thank you so much for loving him as all animals should be loved.

  • What an adorable little guy he was...thank you so much for sharing. I saw the video for the first time a few days ago and haven't been able to get it off my mind ever since. Today my hubby went to cut the grass and found a mouse nest in the lawn mower. Sadly the mother was killed but the 4 babies survived. So tiny, like Zeus. We took them to the Animal Shelter so they could have a chance at survival. I will call in a few days to see how they are. Keep your fingers crossed !

  • I LOVE this! Thank you so much for sharing! I too would have taken the bugger in...You are wonderful! RIP Zeus. You are a sweeti little man...xoxo

  • I LOVE this! Thank you so much for sharing! I too would have taken the bugger in...You are wonderful! RIP Zeus. xoxo

  • Very beautiful, very touching. The photos are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.

  • How fortunate was Zeus to have had you both and how blessed you both are to have the wonderful memories. This touched my heart and made me cry.

  • Awww.. why did the poor guy die so early?

It's sad... :( I recently tried to save a kitten that was abandoned by her mother, and she didn't make it. She was only 5 weeks old or so, so terribly malnourished, and it was just too late. I only knew her for a week... I loved her so much though.

  • Gosh, this was gorgeous. I'm teary-eyed. I guess he had a long life, for a mouse. Certainly he had a wonderful one. So nice.

  • Beautiful tribute to a dear wee one.

  • This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Thanks.

  • @yorkiegirl55 --thank you for watching...and feel free to pass the beauty on.

  • I'm not usually into rodents, but this little guy makes me want one of my own! He was so cute, and so obviously loved. Rest in Peace and Blessed Be, little Zeus!

  • @Skybyrde --i think he had that impact on people, rodent or not, so full of love. blessed be, indeed! thank you for watching! feel free to pass the ilm along--we'd love to know his story continues to touch hearts and lives!

  • Wow...this moved me to tears....im battling cancer and this tiny little mouse made me remember that miracles come in small packages and how blessed we are to have them.... Thank You and God Bless Zeus, may he rest in peace.

  • @DDelilahM moves me to tears too! thanks for watching and pass it on--post it blog it, facebook it...anything to carry his story of love and grandeur on! blessings to you!

  • Such a sweet tribute. May you find comfort in the shadows of the loss of your little furry baby...

  • @darthsion186 thank you so much. may we all have comfort in our loss. xoxo

  • I'm so sorry that Zeus has left you, but I can see its only in the physical plane.

His Spirit is alive within you both, its obvious, and that is the best memorial he can have - to live in your hearts.

    Peace,

  • Aww R.I.P. little one

  • What a beautiful little soul. I'm sure that he'll be waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Blessed be.

  • @LeftieLady we can't wait. hope to see him again soon. for now, he's so alive in our hearts. almost like he's still here.

  • Oh, Zeus. Blessed be. Thank you for sharing this.

  • @ElenaHaskins thank you for watching and please pass it on. we love that his little-big love story inspires and touches hearts all over the globe! facebook, blog, twitter it, let's keep the magic alive!

  • Such a darling little thing he was, I'm sorry he had to leave you <3

  • Precious love tucked in the bosom of love for an all too short life here. Eternal and unconditional love from him and for him.

Love is even easier where he is now...tucked in the bosom of All That Is.

Bless you both for your devotion to him and each other.

Bless you all for your Wonderland Wedding and a blissful life together.

Thank you for all I've gained and enjoyed from all of you and Duirwaigh.

  • Such a lovely tribute to a sweet soul. Don't be surprised to find him still resting now and then on your shoulders. He is never far away.

  • My deepest condolences, sweet friends. Zeus will always be with you, his spirit alive on the wind and ever in your hearts and fond memories. Know that I share your pain, as we put one of our beloved dogs, Dakota to rest in July. May your grief be short-lived, and your thoughts of him eternal.

    Sweet blessings,

  • What a sweet tribute. I just had to share it of my facebook page. The comment being friends come in all shapes and sizes.Thank you for sharing this. It touched my heart.

And yes it brought tears to my eyes.

  • so touching! I'm in a river of tears...

  • Goodbye Zeus - may you shine like a tea-tway in the sky.

Beautiful memories make a loving tribute - thank you for sharing.

  • I'm at a loss for words....may Zeus rest in peace.

  • I'm at a loss for words. May Zeus rest in peace...........

  • Yes; someone shared this video on facebook and i am still crying. I loved seeing the pictures and the song is just so perfect. RIP Zeus ; you touched my heart! ♥

  • I tried to hold back the tears but to no avail. I have followed the life of Zeus and he was a part of our family, too. My Irish grandfather had a mouse that lived in a hole in his kitchen. Every night when grandpa Jack would have his dish of tea, he always broke bread with his little friend from the wall. Somethings are so tender and sweet and it's true that big gifts come in small packages. Safe journey, little Zeus, we'll see you in Summerland.

  • My deepest sympathies. This is a precious tribute. Could not help but cry.

  • I loved this beautiful tribute. How such a tiny creature can make someone stop for a moment, and make them smile through tears. Now that's magic. Thank you for sharing such a private moment. Rest in peace little one, say hello to my Tula. @--->--

  • Aww... such a beautiful and touching tribute to a sweet little mouse with the heart of a lion. I was moved to tears by it. You gave him a chance when his own mother abandoned him. Bless your sweet and tender spirit for giving him a life while lived. May the faeries guide Zeus to the Rainbow Bridge where beyond is sunshine and peaceful meadows where he can play and frolic. Magic is all about IF we just remember to look. Love and Light.

  • My mouse Jade, died recently..thank you for this.

  • i could have done without the tacky tiddy shots, but very sweet......

  • @hell0hkitty

I believed she put Zeus in her sports bra to keep him warm and safe.

  • Oh my goodness - what a cutiepie. I had a pet mouse named Thumber - he was bigger than your Zeus but I loved him - he lived to be 7 years old! You gave Zeus a great life...God bless you and RIP Zeus

  • All God's creatures, no matter how big or how tiny, needs the wings of angels and humans need to respect them. I hope we all get to see all of our pets when we get to heaven.

  • Well, now that I've finished crying... DuirwaighElf, you live in St. Louis?!! I recognized Union Station... This is the SWEETEST video ever. I had pet rats for 10 years, and can't tell you how much I loved them. But I couldn't handle their short life spans. It seemed like I was always mourning. Damn, now I'm crying again....

  • beautiful

  • It doesn't matter if it's big or small. Taking the responsibility on to care for something that needs your nurturing and watch it's life happen is just amazing. I have loved a rodent or 2 in my time :-)

  • Incomparably moving.

  • what is the name of this song?

  • Absolutely adorable - very touching. Made me cry. So nice that you got to take Zeus on all those adventures. What a great life he had. <3

  • what a wonderful life your baby lived, very touching story

  • OMG so sweet. I'm sorry Duirmouse has left you, but clearly you have wonderful, sweet memories of him forever.

  • That was absolutely beautiful. Thank you.

  • I can see stories of murders, wars, genocides, and i won't care much at all....it's human stupidity at it's finest.

This however, made a 30 year old man drip tears from about a quarter of the way through until the very end, all over his keyboard.

Although not religious, if there does happen to be a Heaven.....people like you will get quick-passes.

  • @TheTokinbudZ - thank you for leaving this comment. our eyes welled up just reading it. thank you for being open to this little/big love story, and for sharing it wherever you feel folks need a gentle reminder that there are still remnants of magic in the world. xoxo

  • I am so moved, so moved that I can not find the words to express myself. Thank you Zeus, for the love and the tears you brough to my eyes. Thank you, Cheri, you and your husband are so SPECIAL! I never understood the fear and disgust people feel for mice, I think they are absolutely adorable, and this one.... I can't go on, sorry, I'm crying. God bless you. Love, Fatima

  • @mfatimapestana1 - thanks Fatima. we can't express ourselves either with words, which is why the pictures had to suffice. thank you for watching, and please share with anyone who needs a lift. we hope zeus's little life has a loooong impression. keep the magic going! bless you, angi

  • how wonderful this lifetime you shared -

I found a tiny abandon fella like yours but I was only able to keep him alive for a few days he was just too small and needed his own kind.

Even though his time with you was brief - it was an experience you will all cherish.. as I am sure he did too. Many blessings to you lovely people..

  • @ladywillowdragon - they are so hard to keep alive. it was touch and go for a while with zeus and his two siblings didn't make it. i believe that no matter how many days, hours or years they're in your company, they register what it feels like to be loved and cared for, and they take this with them.

    blessings to you,

    angi

  • Thank you

  • thank you for sharing this <3 what a sweet soul he was, and how loving & generous you both are.

  • boy this tiny little soul hit the lottery by being born under your washer...he lived a life full of love and tender moments.....something most mice never get to expierence...this video touched my soul and i will remember it always...what a beautiful person you must be to cherish such a tiny little one............

  • @jean615 -- he did indeed hit the jackpot! but as big as his winnings? ours were quadrupled. he was (and is) our lottery jackpot. miss him awful. but at least his little/big love story is touching hearts and lives and reminding us all to live wide open. feel free to share his video anywhere and everywhere that hearts could use a tender reminder that love lives. xoxo

    angi

  • love comes in many sizes, and many guises

  • This made me cry like a baby- I would love to see the wedding photos- i have shared this on my facebook page- I was once pumping gas at a station and looked down to see a little mouse come out from under the pump- it was 13 degrees out- i took some crackers out of my truck and slide them under the gas pump where he came out. I never forgot that little mouse- I also once rescued a mouse from the skimmer of our pool- i wrapped him in a little towel and laid him under a tree to dry out and rest.

  • @vickibangs --crackers in the gas pump! I LOVE IT! keep your eyes open, magic is lurking everywhere, waiting for someone to notice. someone like you, with crackers in your car! bless your open and tender heart.

  • @DuirwaighElf - I am now a Fb friend and saw that you are artists- i am also an artist- i love the short video of the yawn- that made me cry as well- what a sweet and precious baby. you can check out my Freaky Frogs by Googling my name- this site wont let me post my web site Vicki Bangs

  • @DuirwaighElf -beautiful and true, magic is lurking everywhere...

  • so beautiful!! you gave him a happy life, even if it was cut short. i'm sorry to ask, but i'm curious, how did he die? was he sick?

  • This moved me to tears. Such a touching tribute to a loved one. It's true, the more vulnerable an animal, the more deserving of our protection and love. Bless you for giving Zeus all the love and protection he needed and deserved.

  • @cielitolindo2008 - thank you for bearing witness to his little/big life and the fairytale he leaves behind. feel free to share his story and film with anyone and everyone who needs to be reminded that magic indeed lives. xoxo

  • I had to comment after watching this, and crying a small river of tears. What a beautiful tribute! He was a lucky little mouse to have you both as his parents!

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

  • So beautiful. Bless your heart, wish there were more people in this world like you!

  • I sit here with tears flowing....what a precious little soul and what amazing people you are for taking such good care of him. I have one of these little guys myself, his name is King Louis (and he is treated like royalty). He was saved from the jaws of a cat and amazingly survived. I know how special these little ones are. Bless you for taking care of him. It is so evident how very much he is loved and always will be. I will be sharing this with everyone I know today. RIP sweetie

  • ....He IS super lucky to have you!!! ;-) ...thanks for sharing!

  • So they live that short?? =(

  • It saddens me so much that not all animals who crawl out from the preverbal washer do not have loving hands and hearts like yours waiting to care for them. thank you for such a tender tribute to his life.

  • @nikkicraft Thank you . There is ...A dampness ..Upon my face.♥

  • OMG OMG OMG!!! This is one of the SWEETEST videos I have ever seen! Those who know me well know that I have rescued & raised many infant field mice (from my evil neighbor) as well as pinkie "snake food" mice from an awful petstore, so this video, and the people in it (although I have never met you), are very dear to my heart.....♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • Tears ...beautiful tribute!

  • I'm sorry you lost your little buddy. Seeing him reminded me to be a little more patient with my 15-year-old cat, who's getting more demanding as he ages. As much of a pain as he can be ATM, I know I'll grieve when he goes.

  • Thank you for making a tender moment for all of us in OR 7 at the Hospital in Pasadena, California. We love Zeus and we his parents. So happy for you.

  • @BushnellMD -- we are delighted zeus has spread his little, big message of love all the way to the OR in pasadena! bless you for all you do--and may the heart of delight follow you all of your days. feel free to pass along this video to any and all who need a lift! xoxo

  • I meant Zeus loved u so much! Still crying!

  • @jlsca --right back atcha! feel the love, the joy and PASS IT ON!

  • You are wonderful people! Zeus lured u and looked so happy. Bless u! I'm so happy people like you exist!

  • Just sitting here, tears rolling down my cheeks. Beautiful and anyone who 'rescues' any beautiful and gorgeous furry or otherwise creature is a legend in my book.

    A beautiful story.

Thanks for sharing your precious memories

    xx

  • @temperanceangel -- thank you for watching and let us all remember that magic lurks in the most unlikely of places! help us spread the message of little, big love. send this film or blog, tweet or post it anywhere you feel hearts need a lift.

  • What a wonderful tribute.... I'm crying tears of sadness for your loss of such a spacial friend, & tears of happiness that this little mouse had such a great life filled with love.x

  • I've watched this repeatedly and have cried every time. What a darling little creature, and how wonderfully loved he was. If only all animal companions could live a life so full of adventure and love.......thank you for sharing the story of Zeus with us. :)

  • @Karinap1974 @2manylost - we hope the story continues to make the rounds, proving to folks everywhere that magic lurks in the most unlikely of places. thanks for watching and sharing, and being blessed by zeus's little, big life!

  • did it died at the end o-o>?

  • Wow. I didn't expect to be so powerfully moved, to tears, by this achingly sweet tribute to Zeus. It just shows the enormity of the human heart, and it's amazing capacity for love and compassion. If we can become so dearly attached to such a tiny and seemingly, insignificant creature - perhaps there's hope for us all treating each other a little better in this world. Goodnight, sweet Zeus - you lived a life that mousie dreams are truly made of.

  • @Improviz - thank you so much for this sentiment, truly. you've blessed my heart. you obviously understand the enormity of what we are working with here, as zeus changed our lives in such stunning little, big ways.bless you for watching, and for sharing, and we hope you'll help us pass the video along, so folks can remember that there are still remnants of magic left in this world. xoxo

  • I was so moved by this, the music so perfectly captured the moments, I wept for a while after this. Some people may say, "it was only a mouse", but most understand that love knows no distinction between humans, animals etc...it was so obvious you loved him dearly and what a blessed life he had and the impact he left in your life. His little paw left a permanent imprint on my heart as well, thank you for sharing his gift and message of love...

  • @cheri22372 --oh, oh, sigh. thank you so much for this. zeus's little paws are leaving prints on the souls of many. bless him for that and for you, for being willing. please pass along the video anywhere and everywhere you feel people need a lift of the heart. may the magic continue. bless, bless, bless you!

  • *Crying* What a sweet little soul you were blessed with,if only for a year. I can see that he was much-loved.

  • farewell tiny one

  • I was so touched by your beautiful tribute to the mighty, tiny creature who not only stole your heart, but also mine. The inevitable ending left me in tears, but at the same time warmed by the love you & your husband showed to Zeus. Do you have any photos of him at your wedding? I would like to Friend you on Facebook. The majority of my friends are animals & their humans :o)

  • @janealex - the photos of the wedding are on FB. did you find us there? look up "angisullins" and you'll find it there. i am so delighted this video stole your heart. please share it with anyone and everyone you feel needs a lift and an injection of love and magic. thank you so much for bearing witness.

  • I could NOT find any CDs with this title....please help!

  • I see that this is a lullaby by Storm Large but could find and cds that have this song....please help, I love it!

  • @purpleladydiane - it's from her album "Crazy Enough." get the whole album at CDbaby.com - you won't be sorry.

  • Hi i tried 2 add u 2 FB as u gave me ur name 2 search 4 u, so did my sisters who r also animal lovers and who were moved by ur video.

  • youtube won't actually allow me to post a link to my FB page. but you can put in 'angi sullins' or you can google 'duirwaigh studios' and find my email address and FB page that way. there's a link on that website.

  • Oh my goodness what a tiny sweet mouse... i love it the boobs thing not so nice though

  • To Zeus who lives in us all forever.

  • @Janiacster - as much as i wish he was living in my hand or in my shirt, he is indeed alive in my heart and i am so grateful he seems to be touching yours as well. his is a little, big story.

  • It's lovely to be so connected to the nature that's all around us. A moment in time that lasts forever.

  • This is so beautiful. If only every creature large and small could be loved and treasured the way you loved Zeus.

  • @Daffy8000 --i think that's why we humans are here, and why beings like Zeus come along: we're learning to love each other, and to open our hearts beyond fear and into the deeper channels of love. my heart is broken, but it is open. i hope to write a book that spreads this word, that we're all creatures worthy of this little, big love.

  • A precious video and a lesson from the tiniest of creatures, respect all life!

  • @HumaneHuman4 -he taught me so much. it's ironic. most folks are so charmed and blessed to see how we loved him. but it was us who were the bigger recipients. loving him was such a selfish gift--he filled us with wonder.

help us spread the word--that even the littlest are full of BIG LOVE. feel free to blog, post, tweet or otherwise pass along this film. zeus would love it, i know.

  • I cried so much, so so much.

I am sorry for your loss, he was a beautiful baby.

  • @porolita22 --ahhh. it touches the heart that someone else sees his beauty, his amazing spirit. makes me wonder how many miracles are around us every day that we don't notice. i miss him terribly but want to keep my eyes and heart open for all the wonder that is here here here. bless you. and please feel free to share zeus's story...pass the wonder on.

  • Thank you for posting this! I am a huge animal lover and you can tell that you loved Zeus like he was your own child. I am crying as I type this...you have touched a lot of people with this video!

  • @pdxmonkey39 - your tears are contagious, thank you for shedding them and helping us all remember to stay open and willing to love. help us spread that very word--that even the littlest are full of BIG LOVE. feel free to blog, post, tweet or otherwise pass along this film. zeus would love it, i know.

  • I also find it sad that he lived for such a short time. What a lucky little thing he was but how your hearts must have broken!

  • @19bergie --a broken heart is an open heart. not sure i want to sign up for more openness, but there it is. zeus gave me many gifts, one of them was his departure, where i learned how huge my heart had become by loving this little creature. xoxo

  • Simply precious xoxoxox

  • omg how cute, i love him, he had a good life that little guy :)

  • @crazy4ranier --thanks for watching our little love story and may the blessings continue to spread...

  • bless you, for loving this beautiful mouse, through his precious life. xxx

  • Using just love as a mousetrap...

You gave a tiny friend a rich life.

  • @hackneysaregreat --love as a mousetrap. oh, you have blessed my soul with those words. we are so blessed you watched--please feel free to share it, blog it, tweet it...whatever. we love that his little life continues to spread BIG LOVE!

  • That was so sweet and touching

  • @dolfndreem --thank you for watching and bearing witness to a true love story.

  • Normally, this type of mouse lives 5 yrs. I wonder why he passed on at only 1 yr. of age. Obviously, he was loved, given good care, and much attention. Curious and sad. I'm sure his human parents would have treasured these 4 additional years to share with the little guy.

  • @valeriebarsini

The Dormouse can hibernate for as much as three quarters of a year if the weather is bad. Hibernating enables them to survive by "shutting down" during cold weather and they can even do this in spring or summer. Thus they have long periods of inactivity which probably contributes to the long life span of 5 years. I'm guessing that possibly this little guy was more active than a wild Dormouse and therefore, a shorter lifespan. But a very enriched one! :)

  • @katmonkeys Thank you for your information, I very much appreciate it. I believe you have nailed it. Just like humans life fast, die young. The little guy obviously had a terrific life. His human parents are clearly wonderful, loving folks. Zeus was too cute for words. The video made me cry, too touching.

  • @valeriebarsini --he was a field mouse found in new mexico--not as large as a dormouse and not as long life expectancy. still--we thought we'd have much longer with him. we thought we'd defy the odds, all of us, with our love. but he had other plans.

  • i need to know the artist and title of this song...it is beautiful!
