I would have rated it higher, I feel this retelling is both clever and approachable. The original play is classic, but just not something you could get a kid to watch willingly. This is a great intro to Shakespeare for little kids. Overall I would give this movie an eight.

I didn't like nomeo and juliet simply because the studios took a classic shakespearean play and turned it into this... I hated leonardo dicaprios take on the story and I didn't like this one.. I will admit that this movie might be great good for teaching the children more about shakespeare and the culture but I stick by my opinion

It's the kind of film you go to expecting a festering turd like "Happily N'Ever After," but are then absolutely thrilled to find out it's more along the lines of "Despicable Me." It's by no means a good film -- this is NOT Toy Story with garden gnomes, but it never made any attempt at being such. This is a film that has no ambition other than to entertain, and because your expectations going into it will likely be low, it will do exactly that. 7/10.

Catfish: Fails as entertainment and fails as a documentary. The portrayal of online relationships in Catfish is so typical, that the film is neither informative nor interesting. Most people would not need a movie to tell them that many Facebook romances end up this way, and the fact that everything is so believable makes the film bland. Upon release, this film's validity was in question, but nothing about it seems particularly improbable. This is not a good thing. 2/10

Gnomio and Juliet gets a 5 from me, the twist is nice, but constantly rehashing Romeo and Juliet is a bad idea in my opinion. The play is the one and only classic along with the 1960(?) film with Olivia Munn.

Sanctum: Dramatic, suspenseful and a great James Cameron movie as always. My only complaint was the depressing way the film went. Sure you expect people to die but watching people have to put each other out of their misery by drowning them over and over just gets disturbing. If you can get past all the drowning it's great though! 9/10
