  • C'mon, you know damn well there was at least a small budget. Me being a filmmaker myself, i can tell you, there is no such thing as a no budget film. A no budget film is when you pick up a camcorder, have a few friends with you and just play around, that's a no budget film. In filmmaking there is always a budget ie. equipment, props, makeup, and all that. But that being said, it was good. Kinda underworldish to me but good

  • I had a tough time. I feel like the wolves should do more... Not basically get mowed down lol.

  • @ZFilmzor Oh I agree. This is remedied in the newest version for the full feature film. The wolves are still very much the Storm troopers of the movie, but they do a whole lot more before getting killed. Also, all the fx have been improved since this video. Thanks for watching.

  • Woah...So inspiring! Redd is a bad-ass haha!

  • @ingaenterprise13 Thank you. Glad you liked it. :D

  • Love it! Love it LOVE IT! Awesome twist on a classic story.

  • @lonewolf9390 Thank you. I appreciate that.

  • I think the WTW should stand for What the... WOW. Because I'm sitting here eating my mac and cheese thinking "seriously this movie is insa... Wow, she just turned a speaker into a giant gun. :)

    Good short!

  • Dude the movie is AMAZING!!! im having to make an action/adventure film as part of my media work and im just wondering like what program did you use for all the effects and explosions, message me :)

  • @charlotte214 I edit on Sony Vegas Pro and use Action Essentials II for most of the FX elements. Much of what I use for FX work now is Hitfilm Ultimate. Feel free to message me if you have any specific questions.

  • Huh, she's not the innocent young girl I knew her as. Now she's shooting, killing, and grown up. I don't like it. I LOVE IT!!! Please make more, I really do admire how you brought up this faerie tale. :3

  • The costumes are badass! I mean, everything in this film is, but the costumes are outstanding, for a low budget film maker.

  • Im an aspiring filmmaker and this is inspiring dude. Very much liking and appreciating what your doing here. Hope the production is going nicely and looking forward to seeing more of this!

  • @618Smokey I really appreciate your comment. Thank you so very much. I look forward to bringing you more. :D

  • Great J O B!

  • I luv it!!

  • i bet with a real big budget and a real good story line this would be super bad ass...even just like this ...its just great really love it

  • I bet that most of those $247 where spend in making the "red riding hood" cape (since I think its silk velvet or something similar) in case they have made the cape from scratch :P

  • daebak^^

  • nice, wel done

  • You did that with just a budget of $247, Damn!!, and for the video also, Damn!!!

  • very entertaining! thanks!!

  • best red riding hood ever

  • This was awesome, especially considering there was hardly a budget. Great job! What camera did you use, and where was this shot at?

  • @movieguyabe Thank you so much. I used the Canon T2i. Great camera. We shot in Winston Salem, North Carolina, local haunted trail and some on a ranch.

  • @prejusapatrick Thnkx for your reply. I have a film-making buddy who also uses a Canon T2i and after seeing his work and now your film, I'm convinced that I need to get a Canon T2i! Can't wait to see the rest of your film btw. :)

  • @prejusapatrick lol i have canon as well it is superb

  • DO LIKE!

  • i wish more like this! Good!

  • nice :) maybe you should involve the usage of silverbullets/silvertraps in the feature trailer. great job!

  • こういうゲーム作ればいいのに。カプコンとかで。

  • Red Ridding Hood just watched a bunch of early 90s Chow Yun Fatt movies with those ridiculous gun action. Hahaha. Awesome video anyway. :D

  • Looks like you were inspired by the village as well. I did a red riding hood short. I would like you to check it out. Good job especially with no budget!

  • Very good job prejusapatrick and the actress ! Moreover, I love the music which start about after 3 minutes. What's the title ?

    Cogratulations !

  • @Jocondes Thank you so much. It's an original track I put together. Might do a vlog on the scoring process. Thanks for watching!

  • @prejusapatrick So it's a good job too. ^^

P.S: Sorry if I do some mistake, I'm french and my english is not perfect. ^^'

  • @Jocondes Votre anglais semble bien à moi, monsieur. Cependant, je m'excuse pour mon français.

  • Looks very similar to a book that was published in 2010, Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce!

  • Great Job. Was this done using sony vegas? If so how did you accomplish the glare from the lens flare across her body?

  • @rotate58 Thanks. I used Optical Flares from Video Copilot, I just used it in Vegas instead of After Effects.

  • Made on no budget? Damn, I'm impressed.

  • Its like a cross of between a modern little red riding hood and underworld. nice job, keep up the films

  • great work :)

  • Awesome!

  • What camera do you use? PLEASE tell me!

  • @FrederikMeyer I used a Canon Rebel T2i (550d)

  • great work.. just wondering. what frames did you shoot this in?

  • @gallegosproductions It was shot in HD 1080/24p and 720/60 for slow motion..

  • Absolutely excellent work! Loved it! + favourited. Those 'wolfy' costumes must have taken forever to make! I'd love to know what you used to create the smoke/mist

  • @rickvanman Thank you so much. We had 4 fog machines on set. But I did use smoke filters in post from Action Essentials for a few of the shots. Thank you for watching.

  • @prejusapatrick thanks for the info. How do you power the fog machines on location?

This is so good I'm going to feature it on my channel for a bit, see if I can get you some more views :o)

  • @rickvanman I really appreciate that. Thank you. For power we shot much of it at a ranch location and at a haunted trail. So there were always power sources we plugged in to. I have alot of long extension cords.

  • stunning !

  • Patrick, it looks damn good! And i will be linking this and posting it wherever I can.

  • Great job!

  • Awesome job. I can't believe this was done on zero budget. Great imagination.
