I don't understand why people rag on Rock Band for being easier because unlike GH, it has variety and slow songs instead of so much death metal. I like both games but I like rockband more because it excels there, and Harmonix has more seniority at making games like this.

Not sure which part you mean. The Country Band thread is an attempt to get country in Rock Band (either as DLC or as a separate game).

"Strummy" means... well, the guitar sounds a lot more like an acoustic than an electric, and you can hear the individual strings as you go over them. I don't much hear that in rock songs, but a good deal of country has it.

Nah, just because something is easy doesn't mean it can't be fun. Plus, GH 3 should be called "Play Every Instrument with a Magical Guitar Hero." It's extremely overcharted, and you don't even play the damn guitar in certain parts of most songs, and 95% of what you play on TTFaF isn't even the guitar part.

Activision needs to stop the greediness and start making quality games again. They haven't made one in years.

It's definitely not overcharted. If you listen, you can actually hear the chords change - there were several times (for example when it went from GRY to GRB you could hear only one note in the chord change) and the charting looks very appropriate imho.
