lol yeah i love wallmart i got the same kit includes so much for such a small price.
BTW i went to a local gun-show afew weeks ago trying to look for 45ACP rounds(no reloads and only 230grain) that where cheap. the lowest price i could find was find was 34 cents per round if i bought 1,500 rounds. 35cents per @1,000
37cents @ 500 and upto 40cents@ 100-50rds.
my local walmart carries 100rd winchester white boxes(230 grain) for 33 cents a round. you just cant beat wallmart.
I could have seen what was in it just going there and looking for myself! Why would I watch a video of that? I thought you might give your gun expert opinion on how good the kit was, but you know less that I do.
my Mom collects antiques and she bought a shot gun cleaning kit from the 30's and there was some money in it (we dont own guns nor do we aspire to but we thought it was cool)
Thanks for the video, man. Obviously this isn't a reveiw of the product but more of a showing of it. That said, you should go slower and comment more on each item. Don't worry about the gun experts online. The internet is filled with gunsmiths, expert shooters and badasses.
dont listen to the dumasses bra,you will learn more as you go along, some guys like to act like they are experts when fact is they dont own a gun, they just watch youtube and google and then go repeat themself to people like you.like the dumb fuck below,i doubt hes held a real gun let alone gun cleaning supplies so dont sweat it.nice sigma, thinking bout getting one cuz my glock is shit,it feeds when it wants with jhp ammo and stove pipes certain fmj,my 17 was nice but the g19 i own is shit
Trial and error. I bought one of those Wal-Mart cleaning kits Sat evening and took it back Sun afternoon. That kit would cover nearly all of my guns, but I tried it on one shotgun and was really not impressed. Flimsy rods, too many adapters, 12ga mop would'nt even fit in the barrel, Like the other guy said, buy good quality stuff and keep it in a plastic tackle box.
may i again suggest buying a better cleaning rod that spins more freely with less bend to it than the cheap kits come with. also that rem spray on lube is awful in comparison to higher end lubrication options. i can't stress enough how much less wear your weapon will show if you use a product like gun butter or weapon shield (2 different companies, i'm not some salesman for them or anything)
try weapon shield or gun butter for your gun lube, the teflon dry lube is junk in comparison. then just remember the 3 - 2 - 1 method of lube for your pistol and you'll limit wear big time.
i prefer to buy a higher quality product than the walmart junk, the rods are worthless and flimsy as hell and most importantly they don't turn freely enough with the rifling of a barrell.
buy better products and store them in a fishing tackle box, it's easier to keep your solvent, lube etc all in 1 tackle box with bore brushes swab's etc
hey dood. good vids you have going. i buy my stuff at walmart but really replace the glun cleaner with break free clp cleaner is the best thing for your gun is a all in one cleaner. for oil use the hoppes 9 gun oil.
Scheels stores sell many kinds of cleaning kits at about the same price.
