If used with the wrong type of paints (flammable and/or toxic paints), this design could be extremely dangerous. There is not enough suction to remove toxic odors/fumes from the user area, and a vacuum is not made to filter such fumes (simply returns them to the room). Flammable paints require spark-free motors and switches, and a design to either filter flammable particulates or vent them outside the building. A vacuum offers none of these. Lightbulb socket isn't spark-free either.
