Wonderful tune but the title is beguiling. I know it has some Biblical significance but "Zadok The Priest" sounds like a Doctor Who villain circa Jon Pertwee.

I was compleatly gripped for the first 2 minuets of that music.

Someone I know once said that Handel seemed to write better music the more he was paid. You can tell this was written for a King!

There is a notion that great music is great no matter how performed and it is absurd...the importance of correct tempo has been mentioned by the great composers, specifically condemning overly-fast performance. Mozart himself complained of requests for him to play quickly, stating that it spoiled music and invites mistakes...correct tempo is something easily understood by those who do not compose music and thus comprehend it.

That's a great recording, could you tell me what orchestra recorded it? The brass isn't too loud like it usually is and I like the tempo.
