another indicator is the USA. Powerful outbreaks this early usually mean that the subtropics have made a very early march north, this in turn means that juicy unstable tropical air will move farther north than usual. last year hot humid air was as far north as Nunavut, and NWT almost to the arctic circle.
And it is march and we already have a tornado hitting downtown in a large city! (this was Atlanta BTW)

Know the thunder's loud when it sets off car alarms - LOL Beautiful captures, love thunderstorms (unless they're directly overhead).
Don't have to chase, storms find ... me. LOL Most of my wx pics taken right out of my front door or in town.
