A lot of the times punk rock lyrics can be trite or tossaway, but this is fucking brilliant. Grade-A satire, and you can practically feel the vitriol spewing from Jello's throat. And the bassline, oh God, I could make babies to it. Then you've got that riff-blasting guitar and the tight drumming to round out the sound and Jesus, what a band.

they have a documentary out now - it's amazing. it's called "everyday sunshine". they had the best live shows of anyone at the time, and anyone i've seen since. maybe crash worship was on par, but CW filled in with gimmicks where fishbone was just the best ever by themselves, alone.

it's kind of interesting that, in the film, the members tlk at great length about how there were scant few black people in punk rock. guess it's OK when THEY say it, though, huh?
