I am building a gearbox for my M4 and I will be using a 9.6V battery with a Systema Turbo motor, I am wondering what you suggest to use as a gear set that will last the longest for this setup as I want to use this kit in my gun. I am using the Modify Torus gearbox. Thanks.

to whoever cares, the amount of recoil that is felt varies depending on how heavy your m4 is. i.e. an m4 the weighs 10 or 11 pounds (like mine) will have considerably less recoil than an m4 that weighs 8 or less pounds (a standard m4).

so this modifies a normal gearbox into one similar to the blowback kinds of gearbox? except it only add recoil and not actual blow back?

im guessing its not compatible with crane stocks?

what would happen if the the battery is wired to the crane stock of the m4, would the tremors stll work even though it is wired to the back?

It doesn't put added strain on the gearbox but will add a little bit strain on the gears.

@DrewRod13 also causes some strain on the piston so make sure you get one with steel teeth

It's not only work for the blowback system but has to work for the M4 retractable stock.

@Recycledhero i think the piston pushes the hammer back and the big spring in the tremor pushes it forward causing weight shift. so the motor has to pull back just a bit more

@chungocquang i dont think its possible to put that in a m16 stock, theres no buffer tube and i doubt it would work on any other gun with a added buffer tube (g36,mp5)
