When the boy shoots the arrow and everything starts to disappear, it seems a little bit scary...hopeless. However, when the cycle of time comes back round again, everything is anew and I felt a sense of peace.
The "cycle of time" does not "come back round again" in this short. The world is lost by man's arrogance, the epilogue merely reiterates the of enormity that privation.
Not necessarily. It could also be a metaphor for spiritual growth and the dissolution about certainty experienced in meditation and/or mystical experience. Remember, the axe the boy used to fell the trees was "two-edged."
Mesmerizing. Amazing, I can't describe what I felt from watching this video. It was perfect in my eyes. The music fit perfectly, the animation was artistic beauty and the reading was amazing. If i could, I would rate it higher than 5 stars... simply amazing.
that was beautiful!!! thanks for sharing that. the voice-over could use a little audio filtering, but the story and everything was amazing. hope you finish it!
Wow, very impressive! A significant improvement from the last one I saw (which was the glass-worker and his apprentice). The story was a litte odd--didn't seem like it went anywhere and if it has a moral, I can't make it out--but the colors are beautiful and it was visually very well executed. Kudos!

Very beautiful. I guess it may be an allegory of how in destroying the planet humans will end up destroying themselves.

Also, in Native American literature 'cycles' of time, life, the universe is common.

Is the aspect ratio off? I thought this was widescreen. At any rate great work, 2006 class!
