Trust me my friend, PC gaming came BEFORE console gaming. When the first computers ever built came out they had games on them. Gaming isn't just an "add-on" thats why there are "Gaming PCs." You have a normal PC to type on, or so I suppose for simple uses. I have a Gaming PC to play games. And the percentage of PC gamers are large. Thats why developers continue to release games on PC because thats a lot of people buying that one game. A home basic PC is not for gaming but a gaming PC is. :P
Only metroid Other M was cool IMO. Wii still isn't the best or all that great. Don't bring up sales because about 80% of those sales are from the CASUAL audience. Mario Galaxy 2? Galaxy was NOT the best game of the generation, I have no idea where you got that. It was ONE of the most creative, I'll say that, but best? And if your going to sum up a game's critics ratings, use major critics like IGN, gamspot, gametrailers, and etc.

Nintendo did much better this year with Metroid Other M and the Mario games but they left out Starfox,Pikmin 3 and the new Zelda game!!But overall they did pretty well.

I strongly agree with this post. Wii Sports Resort may be aimed at casuals, but just like the first one it will bring a lot of fun for even the hardcore gamers and this game has a whole lot more than just 5 games. personally I really like the sword fighting game.

I think Nintendo did a very nice job introducing New Super Mario Bros Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Metroid Other M. I was also shocked to find a Metroid game coming out. Even though I have never played a Metroid game, I think I might have to pick this up, because the trailer was over awesome.
Although we can't say the same in the mid conference. I don't know why Nintendo would think of even showing that as it would bore us all half to death.
i think Nintendo is averting showing all of these acclaimed third party titles because they are trying to make themselves seem more family oriented and all of the third party casual games for the Wii are balls.

Indeed! Metroid other M by Team Ninja was the best showing overall at E3. Shame on those who think otherwise...Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metal Gear Solid Dream Walker (PSP), and Castlevania LoS were the other titles that has me excited. But its the Wii's third partys that haave me more excited about my wii, like The Grinder, Red Steel 2 and No More Heroes 2. Lets not forget the upcoming wiiware games too.

Actually, Reggie confirmed that Retro studios is hard at work, he said that their game isn't quite ready to show yet, but he says it will blow everyone away. Look it up on IGN if you don't believe me.
Im excited about everything Nintendo announced, Other M and Golden Sun DS especially. Gosh, Nintendo stepped up. and from what your saying, nintendo is still climbing the ladder!
Ninty always has an incredible line-up for 2010 with titles like The Grinder, Gladiator A.D, New Zelda(yes Miyamoto said they are aiming for a 2010 release date), Galazy 2, Dragon Quest 10, Metroid Gaiden, whatever Retro is working on (Reggie said it would blow us away), and other titles I believe I forgotten.
2009 is a good year but 2010 looks to top it. The Wii Vitality sensor thing would be cool if the nunchuk could attach to it.

Metroid: Other M looks very Japanese. Samus looks kinda like cloud. And Other M sounds like a weird subtitle. Still looked awesome though. The graphics on the trailer were amazing.

Actually, it's been reviled that Other M takes place after Super but before Fusion. The game will apparently have flashbacks and stuff though, showing you more of Samus' past. Also, I agree that Other M is a stupid name, but I could hardly care because the game itself looks awesome.

i have a feeling that retro is making a new kid icarus game
think about it:
1)retro is good at reviving old franchises
2)kid icarus wii is rumored to be in development
3)retro has been quiet for a while
4)other M is being made, and retro wouldn't make a metroid game at the same time
5)kid icarus and the original metroid are both very similar games

@Shokio can my Wii play GTA 4? Does it even matter if it's multiplatform? I wanna play great games, and my Wii cannot play GTA 4, which is higher rated than Mario Galaxy. Anyways, sorry for replying to a 2 year old video.

mario galaxy is the highest rated game on gametrailers, tied with gta 4 at 9.8
and on game stats mario galaxy got a 9.5 where gta 4 also got a 9.5
galaxy would probably have a 10 rating if it had as much replay value as gta

dude, are you not excited for wii sports resort? com'on, im a wii/360 owner so im no casual gamer, but with that new wii motion plus, it can change how we play games. i for one is excited for that game. plus that archery demo they showed, awesome. anyway, anyone who hasn't tried the new tiger woods 10 with motion plus, go try it. it's tight.

I strongly agree with this post. Wii Sports Resort may be aimed at casuals, but just like the first one it will bring a lot of fun for even the hardcore gamers and this game has a whole lot more than just 5 games. personally I really like the sword fighting game.

Fantasic review.
I think Nintendo did a very nice job introducing New Super Mario Bros Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Metroid Other M. I was also shocked to find a Metroid game coming out. Even though I have never played a Metroid game, I think I might have to pick this up, because the trailer was over awesome.
Although we can't say the same in the mid conference. I don't know why Nintendo would think of even showing that as it would bore us all half to death.
But oh well. Nice review.

i think Nintendo is averting showing all of these acclaimed third party titles because they are trying to make themselves seem more family oriented and all of the third party casual games for the Wii are balls.

Nice vid also liked this one, but i think u were a bit to biast towards nintendo in this one. In your microsoft one you seemed to point out microsofts mistakes and such. But in total i still liked the video and gave you a 5.

Indeed! Metroid other M by Team Ninja was the best showing overall at E3. Shame on those who think otherwise...Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metal Gear Solid Dream Walker (PSP), and Castlevania LoS were the other titles that has me excited. But its the Wii's third partys that haave me more excited about my wii, like The Grinder, Red Steel 2 and No More Heroes 2. Lets not forget the upcoming wiiware games too.

Actually, Reggie confirmed that Retro studios is hard at work, he said that their game isn't quite ready to show yet, but he says it will blow everyone away. Look it up on IGN if you don't believe me.

Nintendo has the greatest gift of all of the current generation consoles, nostalgia.
Just seeing Mario or Samus would make almost anyone happy.
New Super Mario Bros seems, well not interesting.
Mario Galaxy 2 is an upgrade from the first.
Metroid is freaking awesome though.
Pretty much the major highlights were these and the DS's Golden Sun game.
I think the Microsoft conference won this year though. Even if games are multi-platform, that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be considered.

Ninty always has an incredible line-up for 2010 with titles like The Grinder, Gladiator A.D, New Zelda(yes Miyamoto said they are aiming for a 2010 release date), Galazy 2, Dragon Quest 10, Metroid Gaiden, whatever Retro is working on (Reggie said it would blow us away), and other titles I believe I forgotten.
2009 is a good year but 2010 looks to top it. The Wii Vitality sensor thing would be cool if the nunchuk could attach to it.

Metroid: Other M looks very Japanese. Samus looks kinda like cloud. And Other M sounds like a weird subtitle. Still looked awesome though. The graphics on the trailer were amazing.
I wish they showed Pikmin 3 or the next Zelda (or Kirby)!!
Still a good conference though. Wasn't perfect, but was still good.

Retro studios obviously isnt done with the metroid franchize, remember metroid prime 3 ending? also if you go on retros website, they seem very proud of their metroid prime trilogy(I love them for it) I don't think their ready to close the doors on metroid yet. If they dont make it this time their going to some other time. Also retro was working on that new zelda title that was canceled. man I wish I could get my hands on that...

Actually, it's been reviled that Other M takes place after Super but before Fusion. The game will apparently have flashbacks and stuff though, showing you more of Samus' past. Also, I agree that Other M is a stupid name, but I could hardly care because the game itself looks awesome.

Seriously they spent 40 minutes talking about the casual stuff and continued to brag about their sales.(WTHs UP WITH THE BRAGGING).. And then they showed all the trailers for all the good games but they barely talked about it or talked about it all..
BUT.. I thought it was a good conference.
Even Super Mario Galaxy 2 alone was enough to satisfy me. And we know Zelda and Pikmin are on the way too.
