  • Wow....like. Wish I could play guitar like this.

  • one of my alltime favorites- I think I cussed you out in the last vid-that smell- but your'e really good-this is good stuff-thanks!

  • this song always holds a place for someone in my heart!

  • Thank you. This was a lot of help. I was tryin to figure it out but i was making it very hard for myself. This made it way easier!

  • fukin awesome. thanks soo much

  • CAN ANYONE DO THE OTHER LEAD? THERE ARE TWO LEAD GUITARS ON THIS SONG AS WELL AS A RYTHEM

  • Another Great LS Vid Tommy!!!!

  • actually i checked the liner notes and gary and allen do play double leads on this one - ed king and gary wrote it

  • can you tell me the coards to the first verse in order???

  • @sexyrump ♫♪ sure, A minor-strike the B note on the 5th string before goin' into the second chord, C major and then D major.

  • 5000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000***** `s

  • Very nice man, almost perfect bro. One of skynyrds most under-rated and unknown songs.

  • smashed it! you got that spot on mate, skills.

  • which member of Skynyrd originally did this solo?

  • @73WEBSTER ; I honestly don't know. I think Ed King may have. The sliding around reminds me of Gary's solo's. But there are a few movements that sound like something Ed would come up with. Hope that helped ya ♪♫♪♫

  • @73WEBSTER The first one I think was originally done by Gary Rossington and the second and third solos by Allen Collins.-I am surer of the second one which is clearly Allen's style of play the third is similar to it. But the fourth one (not on this recording) was definitely Gary -that thick sound is his Les Paul.

  • @ishawnm Ed King wrote the music and plays most of the lead. Gary plays some lead and fills. Allen isn't on this one. true fact

  • great job man...did you use any pedals or effects in this?.......

  • great southern charm...

  • DAMN THATS GOOD! WISH I COULD DO IT

  • Thank you, I am posting a new video so any one who wants to learn it will have the opportunity for free, on the house.

    Take Care,

  • Love the tone. What guitar, pickups and equipment are used?

  • @BluQuartz ; this is a 1995 Gibson Flying V bought from original owner by me in 1998.

I had the custom mother of pearl blocks inlays put in because I like that style of neck inlay.

The amp I'm using in video is a Peavey practice amp with one 12 inch speaker.

I adjust the gain just enough to produce a little break up for sustain and REVERB REVERB REVERB .....glad ya enjoy it.

    Take Care.

  • this was the first solos i ever played when i played for about a month, back in august or september, i learned it by ear and i play it the same exact way.
