Start build a villages, a segments that each one belongs to one of main classes. Key is that before building residents build facilities for that certain class you want to live there : Their factories and entertainments.

I warm you : It's not like SimCity 4 or SimCity Societies ! In City life, you have to attract differents communities ( Fringes, Lowlifes, Peppry, Allam, Suits Bobo). It's not the same principle in SimCity.

actually sim city 4 is kinda fun when you work your city correctly, it's like sims 2 but instead of taking care of 1 family in 1 house you take care of thousands of families in thousands of houses... SC4 gets annoying when you're doing good earning roughly 20k a month and suddenly your city changes and it requires more power then you end up losing, anywayz I got City Life on pc and trust me, it's way better then sim city, you can build wonders in this game :D I love it!

Well said. WHAT PEOPLE MUST KNOW !! City Life is fun but you will never get the amount of creation like in Sim City 4. City Life has Terraforming, Way more transportation options, disasters, Taxes, Better city Info, and a key factor of Zoning out areas for development. If Sim City 4 had the same camera and road layout mechanical system, It would own the Simulation market for a while! I recommend both but find myself more addicted to Sim City 4. Way more customizable as well.

Sim City Societies is one of the worst games ever made. It's just a City Life clone and it's not even good at being that. Sim City 4 may be 5 years older, but it's 1000 times better because it is what it's trying to be. A SIMULATION. Not just plop down random buildings wherever and your done. EA should of left it with Maxis and Will Wright.

I hate the fact that the game does not focus on symetry. Yes you can get some looking angles in this game but they all look sloppy. Also this game has no core like Sim City. Hi, My cit houses 23,500,000+ citizens and growing-no cheats. (32% Elites, 25% Suits, 20% Radical Chics, 13% Blue Collars, 10% Fringes and 1% Have-nots) with 5,400,000+ monthly balance.

I've reached more than 1 Billion as available funds, but at some point, I've notice a minus sign on the available funds (not the monthly balance), the funds amount are gettin less and less (-300,000,000 now) and the minus sign is still there.. and again the monthly return is green (5,400,000+).

Simcity Societies gets better with time. But over all ya its a crappy game comparing it to the ohter simcities. City Life it total garbage. There is no interagions at all but views. Rods layout is annoying..it just had nothing on simcity.
