I have rly weird problem with bryce 7.I have amd x6 1055T. Now, imagine i want to render 6 frames. If I run one instance of bryce and render those on high priority, with all cores dedicated to bryce in task manager i get 40 secs per frame so its 6*40= 240 secs. Now heres my problem: if i dedicate only 1(!) core in task manager and run 6 instances of bryce, each rendering its own frame on its own core I still render 1 frame in 40 secs , so its effectively 6 frames in 40 secs!! wtf??
hello, can I do also more concrete things with bryce 3d??????
example : construct a stadium or a construction ?????
or just stairs?????
when I`m trying to make a landscape in bryce, than I have allways this sort of mountain on a rectangular/square plain, can I transform this plate in a circular plain?????????
very good tutorial, i started using blender but it is so hard, at the school i go to they use bryce and in like 5 minutes i figured most of evrything out, thanks for the even more useful tutorials
You mentioned that (around the 2:20 mark) that you couldn't do looping because of cloud movement. I beg to differ. Here is how you do it. At the beginning of your animation goto "Sky and cloud" and then select "Sky lab" under the clouds tab you'll see a indicator of cloud speed and movement direction. Simply set the cloud speed to zero. Also double check this at the end of your animation prior to rendering. That should eliminate cloud movement during your animation thus allowing looping.
Thank-you so very much! Until i discovered your video yesterday, I was totally intimidated by the animation feature of Bryce and thought that I would never, ever understand how it is done (when I try to read any user's manual, my mind goes completely blank...). So, after watching your video attentively several times, I finally tried to make an animation (I have Bryce 5), and the result is dedicated to you (see my video response). :)
Try clicking that little "video" button at the bottom of the screen to see if it pops open the animation timeline/scrubline. Hopefully that will do the trick.
I don't have that line that you get when moving objects at a post 0 timeframe. It just moves the object in both the original frame and the other timeframe. What's the cause of this?

If you press the small button to the left for the render button before rendering, you can render the movie faster.
