i know some people who say thinking cat stevens is a one hit wonder for "cats in the cradle" i think thats ridiculous,thats actually one i dont really listen to. he has so many other great songs!!!

He's so beautiful. What a sweet soul he has. I remember him from the 70's. He was always mine and my brother's favorite. Even though we are both devout Christians now, we still love and listen to his old music. And we remember that Cat always believed that God is the Father of all religions, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddists. He ALWAYS said, we must love God with all our hearts. And not fight about our different religions. Cat always spoke that way in the past and still does today.

I remember him when I was a little kid, I am neither a young man nor am I an old man now, lol, but even as a kid he really moved me everytime I heard him on the radio or record. He's so soulful.

What is so neat is we are hearing his old music again, even if it is in commercials. So when our teenage kids and nieces and nephews hear it by default, at least I know they are being exposed to real music. Seriously, he is awesome!!!!
