A very rare firetruck. It seems a shame that it wasn't restored to its original form. The town I grew up in still has their 1937 International with Boyer body. They've had it since new. I actually drove it to a fire in 1969 with nine guys aboard. It was a blast to drive and to ride. It's currently being restored by the firemen, although it's taking forever. Does anyone know of any other '36-'40 D model IH firetrucks? What's the name of that wiggle light on the front of this one?
haha, saw it at a car show up here in maine, hes a big mutha fucka, they bought it (a local firestation i guess) so it is currently just a few miles away from my house
