hey man im 12 years old and people like you inspire me to ride mountain bikes i just need an honest onpinion can you please tell me i have a low budget can i just buy a sportcheck bike and go on sick trails like the blue mountain trail in ontario? and how can i get my skills up and can the bike still do jumps whats the difference between a 600 buck bike and 100?
I am not saying your shit,, try to lean right back after getting some speed go as faar back as possible (so it feels like you will fall backwards) then just feather your brake ;D
@emopipolZ09 you clearly know absolutely nothing about bikes. this is 100%, without a doubt a manual. i ride every weekend and recently went on a mountain biking holiday and i work in a bike shop. i can tell you right now, right here that that is a manual. a wheelie is sitting down, pedalling for balance. this is standing up, not pedalling and using skill to balance.
@motolooney cheers dude, much appreciated! if me and him get bored again this summer i'll post a newer one, started to intigrate them properly into my riding now so getting better! :)
hey man. it really depends on what kind of riding you are doing. you could use that norco for trail, XC and some light downhill, and maybe with effort get it through some dirt jumps, but what kind of riding were you thinking of doing?
ah cool stuff, well for sure get a sasquatch then, its got a pretty DJy frame if you lowered the seat, and set up nicely it'll be a pretty nice bike!
just don't whatever you do get one above 18" size frame, the frame i ride is 16.5", and just right. bigger sized frame bikes are very hard to control =)
@POZDRAW ahh yeah i get you. yeah it is very heavy lol, but then again you can't do downhill or freeride on a normal mountain bike. check out my super slow-mo HD video and watch the bikes over the root section and you will see that a normal mtb just wouldn;t be able to deal with that at those speeds :)
a little, not a massive amount, i've been working on just using balance, with sucess =D only use the brakes when the backwards gets too far and i need to bring it down a bit, but most of the time, i can do the same thing with shifting my weight.
you got it right buddy, time and practice and a whole lot of luck lol. and cheers, most of my friends are metal heads and they despair at my slight taste for old school white hip-hop lol.
i've been trying so hard, and the only things that i can pull off is a 4 second manual, and like a 20 second wheelie, your a frigen beast

@LoveForBiking84 Right you are :) manual= not pedaling, wheelie= siting down pedaling, catwalk= standing up pedaling.

@LoveForBiking84 but why you drive downhill it's too heavy, why not some MTB?
POZDRAW 1 year ago
@POZDRAW I'm not really sure what you mean? Could you re-word the question??
LoveForBiking84 1 year ago
@LoveForBiking84 Downhill bikes are usually 20kg+. Ain't it heavy a bit? Regular MTB is light and cool bike.
