  • Hey! I love to restore old synths as well. How did you clean the trimmers inside? And did you run into problems afterwards needing to re-calibrate all those trimmers?

My second question is also about the sliders, it seems like below you say you have sources? I know about ebay but is there somewhere to get them for a more reasonable price? thanks!

  • @SHUTUPYAFACE Trimmers got the same treatment as the sliders. I didn't run into any problems needing to re-calibrate the whole synth as this was part of the procedure anyway. No sane guy would think it doesn't need re-calibrating after _THIS_ amount of work. I don't have any sources for the sliders, i just have seen parts of them on eBay a while ago.

  • Are these faders still avalible to buy somewher?

  • Yes. But for some reason i couldn't post any sources within 5 tries now - even without using URLs.

  • I need some for my juno 106.

  • I really can't tell if they are the same, but i don't think so. Roland is Japan, ARP is USA. They usually use different parts.

    Good luck!

  • lucky bastard, looking forward to a full demo
