  • Thanks man, very helpful , im gonna go practice..

  • Fajna koszulka :D

  • Good video, society is quickly losing simple skills like the ability to tie useful knots. It's amazing how many people wouldn't be able to tie a load onto a trailer let alone tie a knot which could aid in contracting a shelter. Well done.

  • same music for question everything! - good easy video for bush knots - thanks mate

  • Most useful video I've watched in a while. Thank you.

  • Cool trick doubling around the truckers hitch for extra leverage.

  • nice knots but thats not the taut line hitch

  • @1551mag - it's what ive always known as a Taut Line, it's a regional variation because of where i live, for over 40 years, ive known that as a taut line, it's like what you call a square knot in the USA, in England we call a Reef knot, exactly the same thing, just a different name caused caused by cultural and geographic differences.

Perhaps yopu could do a video response showing what you call a taut line, that way people would get to see both variations of a knot that shares the same name?

  • Superb knots, 5/5 Thanks for sharing.

I would say the evenk and the adjustable are my most commonly used. I've also got a small variation on the adjustable one that I use, called the 'Adjustable Cawley Hitch' which you can find alongside other knots on my site NaturalBushcraft.
