Ever since i was little I've wanted to see the twin towers, but I know that'll never happen, but I also know that i will be just as extatic when I see the new WTC comlpex. I had to turn off the sound!!! The old design was boring; the new design is a waste of space, an empty shell, not really all that tall because the top portion of the bldg contains nothing and serves no purpose other than to be tall. But the original WTCs, sentimental feelings aside, they were not esthetically pleasing either. Rebuilding the towers will not bring back the people who died in them, and cannot erase the damage Bush has done nor bring back to life all the dead soldiers from Iraq.

I Am in Architect school, however the freedom tower is a design as no other could be, an example The four diamonds in the sky, to show those damn terrorists that we can put you high in our American commie list and not forget. The other tower Which has no name besides Tower 3, Is based off our American history and engineering of skyscrapers(represents Sears tower, Hancock Tower, etc.)And Then The Freedom Tower, We Need it to show that you may have hurt us, but were still going. You really don't get it? A lot of people think it is a beautiful design, in the real world, not on youtube. It is a very modern design with lots of symbolism behind it. Lots of people thought the old towers were ugly when they were first built. Also, the towers would be a painful memory to america. But mostly, the flawed design of the old towers is what caused them to collapse, and a bigger tower of the same design would not help.
