I find it increasingly hard to believe Andy and Maggie's friendship would continue in real life.

Originally she came across as a bit dippy. But more recent episodes have seen her comments towards Andy become ever more hurtful to him. She continues telling complete strangers and people from his distant past the age he lost his virginity and how ugly the person was. Hardly the behaviour of a true friend.

That aside, I love the show and wish The Office and Extras would run forever :-)

I think there are many people who watched all the episodes and love Gervais & Merchant's work. However, it gets frustrating seeing the consequences of Maggie speaking before thinking.

I was stating my opinion that Maggie's put-downs have become more frequent and hurtful towards Andy. In reality the friendship would probably end.

But sorry, if this is unacceptable to you then I'll stop watching immediately!!!!
