  • fatma759 is an idiot. I'm a Muslim and if the developers who made this didn't mean to offend us then why should we? It's stupid to get offended because of a video game anyway when there are way more important issues out there.

  • I just got my game from ebay but asads theme is not the same as this one. Its been changed but I dont know how. I like this one better instead of the one in my game

  • fatma759 is a dirty pile of shit that wants to 'prove' the Muslim stereotype.

In reality, it's probably a Zelda situation: Microsoft recalling the game of their own volition out of fear, not because any Muslim actually got offended. Hell, a Muslim protagonist is a pretty damn badass idea for once.

  • I really wanted to play this game, until I heard that it got recalled, then it was erased from the game database by Microsoft.

As much as I love the mainstream fighting games (Tekken, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat), the underdogs are a dime a dozen.

The Xbox and PSX had any fighting games that were great potential.

  • Wait, This game got Recalled?? O.o that explains why no one really knows what it is....

  • The Holy Quran is all about reading it with peace and being calm, look how this video destroies the image of the Quran that is meant to be heard in a calm voice. You can remix arabic words with anything you want but NOT verses from the Quran or the Azan. Stay away from our Holy Quran and Azan!!!!!

  • May God punish you for this shamful video. Alaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahuuuuu Akbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar. My Muslim sisters and brothers whoever watched this, remeber the enemies of Islam will never be able to destroy Islam. Ugly remixxxxxxxxxxx

  • @fatma759 So "God" is going to punish me for making a video showcasing a nice song from a game, but I guess he's gonna skip over all the developers making military shooters where you play as Americans killing Middle Eastern people. If that is how God works then Satan must not be the bad guy after all huh? I honestly don't get why Muslims got so upset over this game they got it recalled but have no problems with all the "kill da arab terrorists" shooters that keep getting churned out.

  • @PrinceCronos It is forbidden in Islam, so why the hell would you do something all not just most of the Muslims don't want it. You should respect people's belief. These Arabic words that was in ur video, it was a verses from the Holy Quran. The verses are from God and God said all of the music and the talking of people should stop when the Quran or the azan is on.

7:204 When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy.

  • @PrinceCronos Now why you are talking about the terrorist and putting the word terrorist next to the word Arabs???? I don't get your last part of talking

  • @fatma759 Let's see. Muslims are being offended and angry over a song in a video game. But not angry and offended over the many first/third person shooters involving America shooting and killing Muslims in the Middle East, who are all portrayed as terrorists. So apparently a song that meant no offense is a grave sin and punishable by God, but games depicting Arabs as evil terrorists who need to die apparently isn't that bad for some reason. Seems real odd.

  • @PrinceCronos Listen the video games and the shooting are both offensive. But what do u mean Muslims are killing in the Middle East? who do you mean is killing the other? Please be more specific. Right now, I am talking about this video, don't try to bring topics has nothing to do with it. I am not talking about a certain Muslims, I am talking about Islam not Muslims. I care about what Islam allows and forbiddes me from doing it, ok?

  • @fatma759 Your statement here is the sole reason why Islam and the Muslim have such a bad reputation. You're offended over some bits of creativity. So what you're basically implying is that Islam ought to suppress any forms of creativity pertaining to your beliefs. Cry me a river kiddo...Islam (like all religions) are simply a hustler's fantasy and manipulating people into this nonsensical fear.

  • @BigBrotherWii You just don't understand, please read my other comments below the videos. I wrote some of reasons why i am offended by this vid. Take a deeper look to what behind that. Lots of people don't understand these issues because they don't know the basic things about Islam.

  • @fatma759 You're jumping around and dodging the issue because you don't have a rational reason to have disdain towards it. A lot of Muslim friends of mine really like this remix. Don't worry about explaining it to me, I already know the reactionary answer. But the reason in of itself is backwards beyond belief.

  • @BigBrotherWii Trying to ignore my other comments below this video will not make ur reaction smart. Wanting to waste my time to rewrite my valid reasons that I hold stnogly against this video, it will not make you acheive ur points. This issue is not about some Muslims do like while others don't. This videos is about words of God being remix with scary remix. Words of God is meant to be recited in a very calm environment when everyone shuts up. I also proved it from verse from the holy Quran.

  • @fatma759 Again, illogical claim. There's nothing scary about it at all unless you find "Allah Ahkbar" a scary chant to begin with. This version is designed for a fighting game, meant for a character who is of Afro-Arab origin and is a practicing Muslim. But you're making any silly excuse to get all bent out of shape for NOTHING. Like your "holy book" it's as broken as your reasoning to find disdain for this song.

Again, you have nothing to justify your own backwater reasoning.

  • @BigBrotherWii "When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy" 7:204. There are so many verses and also from the Sunnah that says, when the Quran is on everyone should stop the talking and close the music. Also if you go to middle eastren countries u will notice in the mall everyone closes the music during Azan prayer. Because words of God has to be respected. Nothing has to overshadow words of God. I can also prove that if u wanted so

  • @fatma759 I've read the Quran and it's as much of a joke as any other "holy" book. You're simply a slave to nonsense.

And again, you haven't provided adequate reasoning to justify your hate for creativity in your religion. This song is respectable to the song and to the religion, but hard-liner morons took it the wrong way and now want everything censored. How despicable.

  • It is sooooooooo offensive. First of all you are mixing some music with it, and when the Azan starts everyone is supposed to shut up and listen to it. Go to any Muslim country with the azan starts everyone closes the music. There is no need to mix it, Azan and the Quran is beautiful without any mixing!!!!!!

  • If a Muslim said it is offensive, it has nothing to do with being extrimist. It is something forbidden in Islam, have some respect. It's just like saying wine is okay, why Muslims don't drink it? only extrimist Muslims don't drink it, noooooooooooo. When something is forbidden it means it is forbidden, don't try to make Muslims look like extrimist when they say the truth.

  • Stupid video ever, but none of the Muslims would care about it because Islaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam 4 ever. Alaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahu Akbaaaaaaaaaaaaaar

  • @fatma759 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....................................

  • @malevolenceXXXensues SICK!!!!!

  • @fatma759 you're funny

  • @malevolenceXXXensues You're stupid, wanna irritate Muslims. Just fuck offfffffffff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @fatma759 no thank you. and I hope when you meet this allah or whatever you call him he's not as great as he seems and there won't be 72 virgins for you to fuck atleast not humans lol.

  • @malevolenceXXXensues Look at your weak knowledge, Allah is an Arabic name meaning God, it could be any God not just the Muslim's God. Just for you to be informed before you say more stupid things: THE MUSLIMS GOD NAME ARE 99 NAMES AND THEY ARE DESCRIBTION OF GOD"S HIGHNESS. But we mostly say Allah because it means God but it's not the Muslims God's name. Dummies are spreaded on youtube! Thank God i am a Muslim and i live my whole life in virginity

  • @fatma759 you have nothing but a soon to be archaic belief I see now why you would prefer a life celibousy people around you think you're too foul and loathesome for anyone and that goes for your personality I can tell because all you do is spread bullocks on this video

  • @fatma759 just because I care little about the details of your beliefs doesn't mean my knowledge is weak cause I know one thing that actualy matters about you, that there is a lack of meaning to your existance to the point where you have nothing but a delusion to cling on and a video game soundtrack to cry about. think before you even say anything else.

  • @malevolenceXXXensues I am so not gonna waste my time with such people, i've already answered these questions, about this ugly soundtrack, in some other replies to some other retarded people. There is no need for me to say it over.

  • @fatma759 think what you like. but you did had a choice in the first place to say something or not. And you decided to listen to this song and comment on it, just like how these other said "retards" chose to criticize you. you have no one to blame but yourself.

  • of course it is offensive, people wake up and stop trying to offend Muslims because one day you will need Muslim's help for sure.

  • Get ready for a world war, people. This chant tells me that it's but supposed to be heard by nobody but the Muslims. This "controversy" is stupid. Sometimes religion can be a pain in the ass. We're just gonna make another game that features an arabic character with Muslim chanting in the background. Uh-oh! I'm gonna get hate mail for my comments

  • it is very offensive how these words are mixed with music, it is like having sex while praying GOSH

  • There must be Public Domain CD's (Royalty Free CD's) that have this sample. Zelda 64 (Fire Temple), Crusin The World (Egypt) all had this islamic chant.

  • phresh

  • this song is in the banned zelda oot fire temple music

  • There's nothing from the Koran in this song, actually.

  • @lymphocity it's just a chant that goes "I love my god, I love my god"

  • @BillyCauseyjr It's a recitation that goes "In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. God is the greatest."

  • @lymphocity Actually, it is. "Bismillah irrahmeen niraheem" is in this song, which is at the beginning of every single surah in the Quran save for one. It translates to "In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful."

  • Most people who comment, don't know what Islam is about. Plz, do more reading or research. The person who put this vid on, says I'm not sure. and he doens't FINDS it offensive. So it's ur oppinion no truth. Are you a muslim to jugde about it...?

Learn, read an understand first to jugde.

    Peace to all of you.

  • islamist are destroying islam, they are financed by oil magnates that whant to radicaliza islam with a new vision

  • i had this game i miss it i wish they would put it in the 360 i don't see the big deal of this theme music i loved this theme

  • It's a shame this game was recalled and never released again. It looked very good and had brilliant graphics and music. I would love to find a copy of this now but it's very rare.

  • @UKRThracian try amazon

  • Does anyone know where I can find this song? Despite it's controversy, I really love it :)

  • thanks been looking for this for awhile

  • anyone know where I can download this sountrack it would be greatly appreciated!

  • this chant used to be in the fire temple for zelda OOT, personaly i think it sounds better in zelda

  • I was lucky enough to find this amazing title at Walmart when the it was announced that the game was going to be pulled off the shelves because of the Islamic Chant that played during Asad's stage. It's truely a shame, this game was one of the original Xbox's hidden gems. I was lucky enough to find the last copy of the game before it was pulled.

Me personally, I don't see how this could be offensive. This is such a beautiful song. Thank you so much for uploading this. One of my fav tracks!

  • i dont know why they banned this game. i'm a muslim and i dont see anything offensive about it. also i heard the muslim character, "Asad" bows down as one of his winning poses, which i think wud be cool. but i guess that wud be strange since u just beaten up somebody and then start praying, lol.

  • it's a shame. such an amazing song caused an end to this game. I love kakuto chojin soundtrack. One of the best fighting music I've heard in a game.

  • Kool choon.

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't part of that chant also used in KOF Neowave on the ancient ring stage?

  • and it's used in KOF 2003.

  • Which track?

  • I don't rememebr which one, but I'll look it up. (I think the pyrimid stage.)

  • Well in 2003 they didn't have stage music they just had team & boss themes.

  • I still don't see what the big deal is. There are songs of gregorian chant, and islamic chant, and hindu chant, and buddhist chant, not counting the ones of lesser known religions and cultures!!

I think this song is downright amazing.

  • I do understand why this is offensive, because it's only to be sung under special conditions, and this game totally ruins that

  • hmm. Pro wrestling uses Japanese tunes that are ment to celebrate the dead as intro's for most asain wrestlers.

I see no differance between this and that.

  • Though is it an important aspect of their religion?

  • wait... the picture is a mosque from my country Brunei lol. anyway this song made the game a total flop and they put the game out of the shelve.

  • OMG this song is included in the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite! I recognized the words, so I looked it up and it's the same song, only remixed slightly differently!

  • I agree this song is good. Maybe the reason this theme is so controversial is of how the clip was used. Other tracks only use part of the verse that lasts for three seconds and is said only once (not counting the loops). They don't repeat it over and over again like here as a large part of the background.

But I doubt that's the main reason. For a fighting game, it had poor reviews and low sales. Why re-release a failed product? Especially when you tore a unique song from a character?

  • Okay, now if those chants in this song are the reason this game was shelved, I think It's HORRIBLY retarded, because the EXACT SAME sound clip with those chants are in Leon's theme in Dead or Alive 2! Why wasn't that shelved?! Completely ridiculous! Look up Leon's theme, SAME sound clip.... maybe Microsoft didn't want to spend the thousands it takes to defend the game.

  • idk personally i think this song is badass.

i love the chants, although i dont know what they mean. im a fan of the band Behemoth, they have chants similar to this in some of their songs. you can still get this game at walmart.

  • the subliminal message put into this song. "In the name of God the merciful. God is one, He is Alone". Heh, if the muslims didnt pull it outta shelves, the conspiracy theorists would.

  • beautiful song. Islamic extremists have robbed the Arab World of was once such a rich, vibrant and expressive culture. How on Earth could this be deemed offensive and why on Earth would anyone listen to a complaint about it? Political Correctness and Fundamentalism are cancer. Damn this is a good tune.

  • @Daemonocracy the tune is good but still its offensive

  • @qool786 why is it offensive exactly?

  • @ryumancer

You should ask a muslim about that ... maybe if you're a muslim u will understand :)

  • @OmegaXSam That's the problem. Muslims are TOO uptight.

  • @ryumancer

Too uptight ?? .. who said that ?? I knew a muslim long time ago , he is'nt too tight :) .. he stopped coming to the net .. I miss that guy -__-

  • @OmegaXSam Probably his "religion" forbid it. That's my point. Muslims are conservative, sexist, and the most likely to turn to terrorism. I'm NOT saying ALL of them are terrorists, but it wouldn't be a stereotype if it didn't happen often enough.

  • @ryumancer

well ,, maybe because they respect their religion or like u said it's forbid .. and about the terrorists stuff , beleive me , they're not muslims . and even mulsims religion doesn't say that ... Islam forbid killing inocent people :) so we can't call any terrorist a muslim . Imagine if some group of terrorists are christians . can we say that any christian will turn into a terrorist ? ofcourse not :) ..

  • @ryumancer

and u know ryumancer ? .. alot of people in the world who hate islam and muslims , so they want to ruined Islam reputation and want the world to beleive that any muslim = terrorist ..... don't beleive anything that's shown on TV .

  • @OmegaXSam I have worked personally with many Muslims at a mail processing plant. They are the normal and peaceful kind. They are NOT bad, their religion is. Too strict and conservative. The same goes for christianity. That's why I turned agnostic (not belonging to any religion). You don't need to have religion to believe in God.

  • @Daemonocracy not just that but I have noticed a group of biggoted arabs who think that if someone non arabic wants anything to do with their culture they should be shot down by abusing the legal system.... but then again, I think this is just a progression of paranioa that started thanks to the terrorist bastards... 9/11 has created a rift between the world's pupulation.. a rift of ignorance and paranoia on both sides.

  • @Daemonocracy I agree. I would never find this game offensive and to add more to it Asad, the main character, is a very interesting character.

  • @Daemonocracy Exactly. I simply don't see how this is offensive. I'm still pissed at what became of the Ocarina of Time as well. Changing the Fire Temple music and the Gerudo symbols to appease a crazy bunch.

  • ok but remember me at the judgment Day .. and u will understand what im trying to tell u .. peace ..

  • u enjoying but other muslims are didn,t ! u are selfish

  • Selfish? listen for some reason you judge all muslims some muslims are not like you some can actually tolerate it. You see for some reason it's fanatics like you that ruin the entire world with your bullshit. Music is music end of story.

  • you didn,t respcet the other holy books .. coz u are fuckin idoits .. u will burn in hell inshallah .. and u will be like a fool in the hell .. peace

  • Are you done people are trying to enjoy good music and you start this crap. Just stop and listen.

  • Fuck your little over sensitive opinion. Music is music no matter what it is. Even when I was a christian I liked this song. So you can't take your religious bullshit to your goodamn church.

  • They are repeating god's word.

Begining with God's Name and saying one of The Qur'an parts, It's mostly said in Praying.

It's ok for a Muslim to read it from the Qur'an, Reading the Qur'an is a good thing for Muslims.

But adding God's words into a song, That is offending.

  • thats so dumb tho because there are offensive things in movies, cds and all over the place but they dont get pulled from shelves. muslims dont have to play the game if they are offended. it always a religios dispute. like the whole evolution in school things. a ton of people hated that but the scientific theory should be taught to the ones who want to learn, just as people want to enjoy the game.

  • I find this LEAST offending.

Actually...I really don't care, I'd play the game I like it anyway, I don't care what offends what.

    But felt like saying.

Remember the LittleBigPlanet Delay reason? A song offending xD

  • yeah lol thats so dumb, but oh well, thats the world we live in

  • That;s Life

    C'est La vie

    Hatheh Al Haia

    xD Say no more.

  • SHITTTT, omf do not whaste my time, 80' 4life!

  • It's sounds alot better to listen to the quran without the music, it's just sooo.... beautiful and cool

  • This song was in Parasite Eve 2 before being in Kakuto Chojin. It's sampled on a track called "The Ark".

  • @JadeEmbrace The chants were also in Zeda 64 "Fire Temple" on V1.0 and 1.1, and Crusin The World "Egypt". I think the chants might be available on CD's, public domain cd's.

  • Sad that a game or anything that people have worked so hard on to be recalled for such a reason. I know that the dev team didn't mean any offense.

I agree with you JohnnyHydro this soundtrack is beyond awesome! Thank you for posting this PrinceCronos you absolutely rock ^__^

  • This song was "almost" in LittleBigPlanet.

  • This game got heavily criticized and black balled. This game may not have been the best but overall I've seen much worse fighting games before. But the one thing this game has an advantage over is that its BGM pwns most other fighting game music out there. The tracks were well out together and really captured an underground feel to this game Asad's theme along with Daeva are one of the best I've heard in a fighting game.

  • i agree, a fighting game with a good soundtrack can give u that feeling of what i call "badassness". I tend to fare better in games when i have a fitting soundtrack, i like my action to be accompanied by adrenalin fueled music as it sets a mood that makes the whole experiance more fun alltogether

  • I love the game and the song. I remember playing it long ago. It's still available at my local Blockbuster.
