And one more thing, I have NEVER learned any useful knowledge concerning BJJ, from a white belt. The purpose of a belt is that it represents the level of your technical knowledge of Jiu-Jitsu. It doesn't have anything to do with "fighting". It is simply a qualifier that gives you the right to teach once you have risen to Black Belt. It's like a college diploma. You value diplomas don't you?

Eddie is a 2nd Degree BB under Jean Jacques Machado, though JJM only awarded Eddie his 2nd degree BB in December '10. So I suppose when Eddie did give Danny his BB he was still only a 1st Degree BB himself.
