After growing up in there I left GR when I was 18 and haven't been back for nine years now. Thanks for posting this vid now that I've seen what I've been missing I don't have to go back for another nine years. It defiantly looks different when I'm not drunk and/or baked.
My dad works at Wyoming Land Title. He is the one man that works there. His name is Bill Boyles, Jr. and he is the boss/president. Cool, huh! And my step-mom is the VP, Kristen Boyles!
Thank you for the tour. My daughter lives there and I have never had the pleasure of visiting your awesome state. Could you shot one of the 'Gorge' she has hung out at and painted for me? Thanks.
Good tour of Green River, what you showed. I used to drive a truck several years ago, and this my main e-w route. My main stops near there was Little America, or the truckstop at Rock Springs!I 've always liked the RR yards (the biggest feature) there at GR. BTW, the only other tunnel on I-80 is near Elko, Nevada. Also, what is the status of the Atlantic branch out of RSgs?
The whole thing, tho, I believe is called the Palisades. I could be wrong. :) When I come in from SLC I always look for Pilot Butte. That is my welcome home sign. I wish you could have included it in your little film.
hey nice vid of were we live but u skipped my house if u would have turned right on monroe ave. and east teaton blvd and looked into pioneer park u would have seen my house and me playing with a sword (i got a sword that day)lol nice vid over all though
I was an exchange student in Green River in 1996. This video reminds me of Wyoming. Green River does not seem to be changed a lot. Can't believe I still miss Wyoming.
oh you know what, Green River is not that bad of a place to live... The people are friendly and always willing to give you a helping hand with whatever...
Loved the video. I grew up in Green River and this was awesome to see it all again. Keep up the Green River videos!! You might know my mom, you made her computer recently and she's currently visiting me.
great video. music better. miss the town but could never imagine living in wyoming again. 18 years was enough. love to visit home....post some more....south hill area.
I miss GR! I'd love to see more posts like this one. Next time you're out driving and filming please take a gander at the area up by the new high school. It was all empty desert when I left town and since I haven't been back I'd love to see what's new.
haha the video starts at my house

I lived there when I was very young. I still have a lot of memories, and feel at home whenever I see rock formations and desert mountains.

Folks, look up artist Thomas Moran. He did famous paintings of this area including the Tollhouse Rock, or as we call them "The Palisades".
