  • I'm german and I can prudly say that we don't put pickles in our trees :D

  • Wowwwwww, we're cool

  • we have those in New Zealand! we used to have them all the time as kids

  • I miss this.

  • In fact, I'd go so far as to ask you both to remake this video, but speaking the captions instead of the original script. It would be bizarre and awesome. And also you get to eat more Kinder eggs, which is a plus.

  • Public service announcement: Everyone turn on the Audio Captions for this video. It's... hilarious.

  • Kinder Suprise is the best!! :D It has been ages since i last ate one :(

.... and then Sanne & Marion died. *.*

  • perfect ending :)

  • omg pickle ornaments? xD

    i love kinder surprise eggs!

  • I love kinder-surprise xD

  • omgg i love u guys! and how do u guys get ur hair to look so pretty :) ?

  • You're never going to believe this. There was a PICKLE ornament on my uncle's tree. NO LIE.

  • OH MY GOD MARION IS IN YOUR VIDEO

  • Go Kinder eggs!

  • I always had Kinder eggs as a child :)

  • its a german tradition to hide a pickle in the christmastree, then whomever finds it, gets a special treat or present

  • Silly Sanne, you know that people who are choking to death can't get enough air in their lungs to cough.

  • ghehe I totally remember chewing on those things, it could be soo frustrating!!

  • awesomeness! I haven't had kinder surprise in a looong time!

  • twilight reference....lame.

  • hey Sanne, i want Kinder eggs...never tried or heard of them (until you mentioned them).

  • YAY!!!!!

    Kinder eggs are the best!

  • oh you girls. so silly.

  • Ha I want the ice age edition pickle for my tree next year!

  • iRofl'd. Also, I feel privileged to witness the introduction of Kinder eggs to our Atlantic cousins who daily suffer from the depredations of the Hershey company. Never fear, Europe's here, and we've brought chocolate!

When I was a kid I quickly learned that you have to bite down hard on the little capsule's join to open it. If that didn't work, you'd need pliers and a hacksaw. Bloody eggs.

    Try Bueno next, they're awesome!

  • hehehe "kinder uberraschung"

"We ar ze Germanz und we will not import ze words from ozzer languagez!"

  • My Mother has a very old pickle ornament. She was born in a coal town in PA with a huge German population.

  • And also - I don't know why but when I was young I always wanted a figurine instead of something to build. My friends and I also talked about this a while ago and it was the same with them.

I guess we germans don't like to build stuff.

  • I'm german. I have never EVER seen pickle ornaments. That is really really weird.

And yeah .. ueberaschung. I love it when non-germans say things that are hard to pronounce :)

  • Miss :[

  • So funny... xD

  • I'm German ...

it's funny to hear you saying german words :)

    hihi!

    Uberrsachung!! :)))

  • you can't fool me: if you girls died, how would this have been uploaded?

    HAH!

    ...I'm SO smart! xD

  • @JustCallMeBen we're not worthy, we're not worthy

  • hahaha sweet. i will totally ask my german about the pickle thing. wweiiiiiiirddd
